Jannat

Silence before the storm

***** Omar POV *****

I could not hid my smile stealing glacés at the love of my life. Jannat sat on the sofa comfortably playing games on her phone, she always had the habit of chewing her tongue and occasionally frowning when she concentrates. She looked beyond cute with her eight plus pregnant tummy. The smile widen when I remember what we have created our beautiful babies. I needed to divert my attention back to work if I want to go home. I turn back to the papers on top of desk when I hear a ping. I look up and see Jannat running out my office almost tripping on her way out. It was almost as if my heart beat stop for second then snap out of it and run after her.

"Jaan"I shout as I run out of my office gaining the attention of everyone. But she did not stop, Abraham was talking to a employee and he sees Jannat running toward the elevator and tried to talk to her but Jannat grabs his arm and toss him out of the way "shit" I sometime forgot how strong she is Albert and Smith hold her "careful" I shout as I come near them every body was shocked. "Jannat" I call her few times as she tries to get out of their hold I take her and Smith run to help Abraham. She looked like she was not herself her eyes where blurry after few minutes she faint. I pick her up run toward my office followed by Albert , Smith and Abraham. after placing her on the sofa I sprinkle some water on her face to wake her up.

**** Jannat POV ****

As water droplets hit on my face I hear Omar calling me I open my eyes. I remember what happened and try to get up but Omar stops me. "What happened??" Shaking I pick up my phone and pass it to Omar. His eye hidden it was a pick of A girl her hands were tied to her back she was motion less we could not see the face but I was sure who it was . "Maan" I cried tear coming out of my eyes. She was my sanity and seeing her in such a position I was loosing my mind. My darkest and deepest fears was coming out. Omar get up and calls Jonathan who was Maan's bodyguard. The call was on speaker

Jonathan : hello Sir
Omar: Jonathan where is Maan?
Jonathan : lil missy went to library I'm right out side.
Omar: John check right now we received a picture of a girl tied up.

I could here John running and him asking people if anybody has seen her. Anybody other then the staff and students with ID could not go into classes or libraries or any other room they could stay in the halls and wait but could not enter so I could here the library assistant calling him to stop but when he tells them what had happened  the call the school security started searching for her. After few minutes which felt like hours John talked into the phone.

Jonathan: sir we can't find her. Now we are going to check the school security cameras.

I felt difficulty in breathing my heart hurts "she is having a panic attack" I hear Smith's voice. I felt Omar's hand around my body " Jaan you need to calm down , you need to be calm so we could find Maan" I try to breath slowly my breathing get back to normal.

Jonathan: sir , there is no footage of her after getting into the library.
