Sorry about the week or so without an update, it be like that sometimes. I think the problem is mostly resolved so I should be back on a regular schedule.

(Y/N)'s POV

Ibuki grinned madly. "So, you've decided to hear me out, huh?" She said, clearly amused.

"Yeah, yeah..." I wave her off, slightly annoyed. "What's this about?"

"Wellllll, Kizakura-Sensei said to be in groups of four, right? Then, Ibuki will be apart of your group, so I can make sure you and Nanami can spend some time just the two of you! Like a personal vacation!" What is she on about...

"Right, that'd be three of us. Who's the fourth?" I question. Surely she thought this through...

"Simple, I roped Tsumiki-Chan into this!"

"So... you, and Tsumiki, are going to group up with Nanami and I, that way I can spend the whole thing with her." I summarize. She can't be serious... but... I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to take her up on the opportunity. Assuming Chiaki agrees to be in our group, I'd get to spend the whole thing trip with her...

"Yep! How's about it, huh? You in?" She said, clearly excited.

I let out a heavy sigh. "Fine."

Ibuki let out a cheer in excitement, clearing not caring about the attention she was drawing to herself.

"Yeah, yeah..." I mutter, blushing a little.

I absentmindedly scroll through my phone on the dorm couch, sighing in boredom. When I got accepted into one of the most prestigious schools in the country, I never expected I'd have so much free time.

A quiet knock on the door startled me back to reality. Dropping my phone out of fright, I manage to catch it just before it hits the floor, sighing in relief. I wonder who's at the door.

"Hello?" I ask, opening the door. I look down and smile at the shorter girl in front of me. "Oh, hey Chiaki."

"Hey (Y/N)," She smiled. "I was just wondering if you wanted to come over and play video games for a bit."

I bust out into a grin. "Sure, sounds great!"

She giggled, and I follow her to her dorm couch, noticing the blanket and pillow from me staying the night was still there.

We played video games in comfortable silence for a while, until she spoke up with the question that had been plaguing my mind for the past half hour.

"So, do you know who you're gonna group up with for this trip?" She asked softly, eyes never once moving from the screen.

"Oh, well," Thank God she started this conversation, I didn't think I'd ever have the nerve to ask. "I was going with Mioda and Tsumiki." After a short silence, I decide to give her the offer. "You can join us, you know. There's one more space in our group."

She smiled her usual, adorable smile. "Sure, that'd be nice."

"Good." I smile.

We played for a while before I had to go back to my dorm, and I resumed lying on my couch, bored, until I heard my phone ping.

I set my phone down and facepalmed. Dangit, I knew I should've been listening to Kizakura-sensei when he was explaining! Still, should I ask her to dorm with me. Well, I guess the time has already passed to ask her. Then again, she had the opportunity to ask me, but didn't. I guess she doesn't want to...

After grabbing my lunch from my locker, I head down to my usual table to join my small friend group. Mikan, Hiyoko, Mahiru, and Ibuki had all already sat down, and were going about their usual business. By usual business, I mean Mikan crying, Hiyoko making rude remarks, Mahiru trying to calm Hiyoko, and Ibuki watching, slightly amused.

As I was walking over, I felt a tap on my shoulder, and heard a small "Hey, (Y/N)?" Turning around, I see the small, pink-haired gamer.

I flash her a smile. "What's up Chiaki?"

She smiles back, a faint pink tint lining her cheeks. "I was just wondering if you wanted to eat lunch outside with me."

"Oh, sure, I know a great spot!" I grab her wrist and pull her along as I go to my favorite spot. It was on a small hill in the courtyard, under a tree. We technically weren't supposed to eat anywhere but the cafeteria (though they never enforced it), so there weren't any chairs or tables outside. Instead, I just sat down in the grass, patting the space next to me, indicating Chiaki to sit there.

She sat down next to me and started eating her lunch. We engaged in friendly small talk, while she casually played on her handheld in the background. Curious, I looked to the screen to see what she was playing.

"Is that Galaga?" I ask. I had played the game before, but wasn't any good at it.

Her eyes lit up, and she paused her game and looked away from her screen and at me. "You know it? We should play sometime!"

I chuckled at her enthusiasm. "I have a Game Girl Advance in my locker." (A/N, yes, that's the actual name. Look it up if you don't believe me) "If I run, we could probably play for 10-ish minutes before lunch is over." I offered. She smiled excitedly and nodded.

I grabbed my console out of the locker and returned to the tree, out of breath.

"Got it." I held it up, showing the boot-up screen. She smiled, and we started playing (with her obviously winning most rounds, but going easy on me every now and then).

After a while, I felt a weight on my shoulder. I looked over, and saw Chiaki resting her head on my shoulder, blushing, and clearly trying not to look at my reaction. Oh my god Chiaki is resting her head on my shoulder what do I do what do I do what do I-

*BRINNGGGGGGGGG*

The bell rang, alerting us that lunch was now over. Chiaki stood up quickly, brushing her skirt off, clearly flustered.

"U-Um, (Y/N), let's meet here again tomorrow, is that okay?"

I smiled. "Of course, see you then."
