°  TRIGGER WARNING: MENTIONS OF KIDNAPPING IN THIS CHAPTER  °

Shawn had been pacing back and forth across the locker room, RAW was already an hour in and Rose hadn't returned yet. Worry coursed through him, no one else in the room had spoken a word since RAW began, the deafening silence coursing through everyone, she did say she would be back in just a few moments right? Shawn's eyes narrowed slightly, lost in thought.

"Paul, we need to go check if she's still with Steve." He stated, trying to keep his voice in an even tone so his true worry would be hidden away. "The show has already begun, she should be back by now. Her and Steve probably just got lost in a conversation or some shit like that." He finally looked up from the floor and across the room to Paul, their eyes locking instantly, Paul's eyes had widened slightly with shock, though still held an enormous amount of worry.

"You want to go to Steve's locker room?" Joan broke her silence, clearly as shocked as Paul was. Both men glanced at her before Paul returned his gaze to Shawn, furrowing his eyebrows slightly. Shawn had always tried to hide his feelings, though it seemed now there was an exception to the former stone exterior.

"Let's just go check, come on." Shawn gestured to Paul to follow him, avoiding Joan's question as he left the room, already heading down the hall. Paul sent a small smirk Joan's way before standing, having to jog to catch up to Shawn. When he had finally caught up the first thing he noticed was the determined look on Shawn's face, though he decided not to mention it.

As they arrived at Steve's locker room, Shawn was the one to knock on the door. He seemed visibly nervous, Shawn didn't remember a time himself and Steve had ever gotten along, and sometimes it seemed like they never would. But Shawn knew if Steve would be worried about one thing in this whole damn industry, it was Rose.

As Steve opened the door his eyes instantly fell to Shawn, a mix of emotions crossed his face, the mains being angry and confused. "What the hell are you doing here?" He asked, trying to keep a cool head as he figured Rose was probably nearby, just the sight of Shawn angered him to no end.

"I'm getting straight to the point, is Rose with you?" Keeping his tone even, shifting his weight to one side, she had to be with Steve, Rose wasn't the type of person to run around the building all by herself for nearly two hours, she liked to stick with the people she knew, the people she trusted.

Steve's expression fell slightly. "No, she left before the show began, said she was heading back to your locker room.. Why?" He stated, visibly growing tense, She was family to him, and he swore any and all God's that if Shawn did something he wouldn't be alive for much longer.

Both Shawn and Paul glanced at the other before looking back to Steve, Paul was the one to speak up. "She never came to the locker room. We haven't seen her since she left to come here." Both men watched as Steve became furious, though not at them.

"You both start looking around. Opposite directions." He spoke with a firm voice, leaving little room for argument. "We need to look around, see if anyone can find where she's gone. Hopefully we're just overreacting." Steve finished as both men nodded in agreement before heading off in separate directions. Steve stood in the doorway for a moment longer. "Everything will be fine Rose.. Don't worry." He was speaking more to himself, shaking his head softly before heading off into his own direction.

Luckily none of them had anything too important in tonight's episode as Vince was too focused on promoting a Mankind match, leaving them with the majority of the night to search. Each man fully determined to find at least a sign of wherever she was. Steve had attempted to call her what felt like every five seconds, after an hour it went immediately to voicemail, signaling her phone had either died or was turned off.

Shawn had searched the areas where the ring equipment was kept, not leaving any nook or cranny unchecked. Paul had checked all the main areas where superstars would be hanging out, with Joan joining him soon after his search began, they checked catering, locker rooms, and every hallway he could go down. Steve searched the main arena, sky boxes, closets and when the event was over and the fans were beginning to leave, he checked the merchandise tables, ticket offices, anything he could get his hands on.

But no one saw any sign of her anywhere. With everyone on high alert and a final check of the entire arena they all met in the superstar parking lot. Though it was mostly empty at this point, making it easier to narrow down who would still be here apart from them four of them.

As they all spread out, within five minutes of searching, Shawn had found the first clue of the night. Lying by the far corner, was her phone. His eyes widened as he picked up the device, he immediately powered it on, surprised it still had power as the screen lit up, as the notifications popped up he read over them, looking for any sign.

30 missed calls from Steve

25 missed text from Steve

Sighing softly to himself he stood up and looked over to the other three. "Steve!" He called out, He swore he'd never seen Steve look somewhere so fast. Without saying anything, he held Rose's phone into the air, giving Steve all the information he needed.

Steve ran over,Paul and Joan following, Shawn handed the phone to Steve as he looked over the screen, a storm of emotions flowing through him, before he had any time to think a new notification appeared, a text message from "Unknown". Hesitantly opening it they all froze in place as the words appeared before them.

"Time for a game."

A/N

Surprise! Now I know what you're thinking. "Damn Cait that was a quick change." Well let me explain.

After a few hours of thinking it over after posting the announcement chapter to this last night, I decided I didn't need to move it. I can just post the story on both! That way it's convenient for everyone. (Cause I will admit sometimes it is easier to read stories on here rather than A03. oops)

So yes! This story will be continued here as well as on A03. I have done everything in my power to make sure I am actively writing on here once more because I do truly miss it and I'm so happy you guys seem to enjoy my stories. It makes me super proud of my works and confident in my abilities to write.

As you can probably tell my writing style has changed A LOT and I hope you like it as much as I do, I am always improving and learning new ways to write.

BUT ANYWAY I do hope you enjoyed this chapter and I will see you in the next one!
