Chapter 5: Meeting

[Ace pov]

My body was sore as I sat up in bed wondering if everything was a dream. The story Nightshade told me Echoed in my mind when I heard the angry voice of Celestia's guard.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE FOUND OUT!"

"I guess it wasn't," I muttered smirking as I got out of bed heading downstairs before Strike committed murder listening to the yelling.

"Look He found the Freezer, He deserves to know"

"Maybe but that isn't you call Night. That's-"

"Mine" I interrupted as Strike looked at me defeated.

"Prince your mother didn't want you knowing about this. There were reasons why" Strike pleaded her hair unkempt most likely from the mental breakdown she was having towards Nightshade.

"To hell with her..." I sighed. "She barely took care of me. Hell shes pawned me off on you and nightshade and others. As far as I am concerned-"

"What did you do to him?" Strike growled at Nightshade. "If he goes back to the castle-like that it'll be our heads!"

Nightshade had an amused look. "Strike he's a growing boy. Sheltered and shy... I'm honestly surprised, all I did was tell him old stories about my life... But we have a bigger problem that Ace rebelling against Celestia" nightshades amused face looking much darker.

"What could possibly be worst than a rebelling prince!" Strike having her panic attack.

"STRIKE!..." Nightshade yelled. "You need to tell lunar guard the banished has returned. They'll know what I mean... " nightshade looking at me. "Go get ready Kiddo... We have a meeting to attend."

I nodded running upstairs thinking. "What meeting?"

[Nightshade POV]

"Nightmother is not going to like this." I mumbled looking st strike who had a look of 'duh'

"Anyway... Just do as I ask ok Strike... If anything happens it's on my Shoulders alone." I sighed watch Strike roll her eyes and walk out using dark magic summoning the sword from the attic wrapping it up. I was Wishing for a new life but my old one still haunted me I knew my friends would be there I just hoped they support my decision, and that the Nightmother Accepts my proposal.

[Timeskip. Nobody pov.]

Nightshade had been carrying two sets of Armor. His Old Lunar guard Armor and his ancient Hunter armor. Sighing as Bri Endie Speed O'Malley and Ace met him at the Train station.

"Ok young one you can head home now..." Bri smiled as Ace chuckled.

"He's coming with Bri" Nightshade staring at the extra train ticket to. Canterlot.

"What?!" The Four yelled in unison as Ace took his Ticket.

"I made a promise to show him our world... Weather 'she' likes it or not Ace has been wrapped up in our world.

Omalley nodded knowing Nightshade always had good calls while the others gave uneased looks. The train pulling up as they entered Nightshade holding his Saddlebags close keeping the wrapped sword in his lap. The ride was quiet as they all had questioning looks on there faces ace being the exception he looked like a kid in a candy store a bright smile as he was doing something he knows his mother would disapprove of. Nightshade smirked Nudging Ace.

" try not to draw attention" he mumbled as Ace nodded keeping a small smile on his face.

Nightshade let his thoughts roam until they landed on his Beloved crystal. Nightshade didn't really require sleep but it was nice for appearance's sake. But his dreams kept him from having a peaceful 'sleep' the screams of his beloved haunted his nightmares no matter how many times Luna tried to help all he could hear where her screams, and his brother's horrible laughter as he cut out Nightshades child, but lately something new had happened his new 'family' sitting around enjoying a nice meal as ace sad next to him a happy grin on his face but something strange had been happening. He'd wake up right before Ace would call him Dad... Nightshade sighed wondering. "Am I really that afraid of something so simple?"
