Lilly has been keeping a distance from me, also she hasn't been sleeping very much like every night she wakes up terrified and won't go back to sleep. I know she been through a traumatic experience and it will take time for her to heal, but she is safe now. I will not let anyone lay a hand on her ever again, even If I have to kill every threat.
Walking into our room I see Lilly sitting by the window and she's looking outside, walk over to her and sat beside her, I go to stroke her cheek when she flinches and moves away from me
"Lilly baby"
She looks at me and I see tears running down her face, I reach over to wipe her tears away and she lets me, she leans into my hand and more tears came down her face as she breaks down. I removed my hand from her face and slowly picked her up and sat her on my lap sideways, I made sure her hurt leg was supported as she sits on my lap, she lays her head on my chest.
I hold her close to me and said
"I love you, Lilly, I will always protect you and keep you safe, you will always be mine Lilly baby I promise"
She cuddles into me as I run my fingers through her hair, we sat there for a while, until Emily walks in
"Mr Blackhart the nurse is"
I nod and say
"Thanks, Emily, tell her to wait in the living room, we will be there in a minute"
Emily nods and leaves, closing the door behind her, I look down at my baby and stroke her hair
"Lilly the nurse is here baby"
She quickly moves her head from my chest and looks at the door
"She is waiting in the living room for us"
Lilly doesn't say anything as she lays her head back on my chest, I held her as I stand up and I make my way out of our bedroom, walking into the living I see the nurse and I noticed her eyes looking me in a seductive look. I sigh and walk over to the couch and gentle lay Lilly down on it and I sat behind her so she is sitting in between my legs.
The nurse sits near us with her medical bag, as she gets things ready, I felt Lilly grab my hand slightly, I look at her and she is looking at the nurse, I kissed her head and whispered into her ear
"I'm here baby, It's alright"
The nurse starts to undress her upper thigh and Lilly tighten her hold on my hand, I give her hand a reassuring squeeze, once all the dressing is off I saw how bad her wounds were
"How does it look, nurse?"
She looks at Lilly's thigh then at me
"The wounds are healing slowly but the stitches look pretty red"
Lilly hides her face in my chest as the nurse was cleaning her wounds and applying the ointment, I kissed her head and held her hand through it, after the nurse was done bandaging up her thigh again I look at the nurse as she was packing up her stuff
"What can you give Lilly that will help her sleep?"
The nurse looks at me
"Well Mr Blackhart I can't give you anything, you need to take her to the doctors"
I sigh and kiss Lilly's head
As the nurse stands up, she flashes her chest at me, then she grabs her bag and makes her way out
"oh nurse by the way your fired tell the doctor to not sent sluty nurses here"
The nurse leaves and slams the front door behind her, I then called out to Emily
"Emily, can you come here?"
She walks into the living
"Yes sir"
"Can you make a small picnic for us and set it out on the baloney please"
She smiles "Of course, I'll do it right now"
She then walks away, I then sit up a bit more and look at Lilly and she looks at me, I stroke her cheek
"Baby why don't we go outside and get some fresh air, you haven't been outside since you got home"
She leans into my hand and says "Ok"
About 10 mins later, she goes to move but I stop her and pick her up, she holds on to me
"Its ok baby I've got you"
She lays her head on my shoulder, I smile as I walk outside as I see Emily finishing up the little picnic she made for us
"Thank you, Emily," I say
She nods and walks inside, I set Lilly on her feet slightly as I still got a hold of her, I help her sit down on the chair and I made sure she is comfortable and that her leg is up before I sit down next to her.
She looks around, I smiled as I poured both of us a drink, she then turns and looks at me then looks down at her hands
"I'm sorry" she whispers
I look at her in shock than a bit angry, as to why she is saying this
"Lilly baby why are you saying sorry?"
She looks up at me
"Because this is all my fault, your having to do all this for me just because I'm hurt"
"Is this the reason why you've been distant lately?"
She nods as she looks away, I grab both of her hand

"None of this is your fault Baby, it's that bastard that hurt you, he is the one who has caused all this pain and the sleepless nights you been having"
I bring her hands to my lips and kiss them
"I dont want you to blame yourself ok"
She nods, I stroke her cheek and lean in and kiss her, she kisses me back.
