The Cafeteria

I wake up the next morning to a beautiful sunrise, with pink, orange and yellow mixed together. I sit at the little window seat and watch the sunrise. I look down a little bit and realize I can see the forest, and the tree, or my mother, from my window. I wave, thinking nothing would happen, but one of her branches swing back and forth. I think it might just be wind, but no other tree is moving.

I smile to myself and get up. I look at the clock, 6:48 A.M., I grab my jacket and go to the counter in the kitchen. I grab the paper of what everyone wants and head down to the cafeteria. As I walk, I pass some people and they all look at me in awe and try to say hi. I wave back to all of them and find the newspapers.
LOLAND NEWS:
DAUGHTER OF NATURE FOUND-
New arrival, Luna Boman, has
spoken to the tree, and proven her
powers to Leader Martin.

"Already in the news? Wow, am I famous?" I drop the paper and walk into the cafeteria. Everyone is looking at me now. I look at most of them and wave, they all turn to tell their friends and fight over who I really waved to. I walk up to the front and look at the paper.

What we wanna eat:
Delphi- pancakes
Bella : eggs and bacon
Luna - waffles

I hand it to the person taking the order, and they look up and smile.

"Why, hello! I can't believe your in my cafeteria!" She jumps and smiles.

"Uh, I live here. I should be here? Can I have my food please?" She stops and apologizes. "It's ok." She walks to the back and gets the food ready, and I go sit at a table with no one— wait one— wait two— wait three— eventually the table is full of people. I get ambushed with questions and people just staring at me in awe.

"Uh, hi? Can you please leave me alone?" They ignore me, "Hello? Can you please go?" They ignore me, "HELLO!?" They Jump and scramble to leave. "Ugh, finally!" I whisper as my trey of food gets here. I jump up and walk out, dodging away from everyone trying to talk to me.

I finally make my way back to my room. I unlock the door and go to set the trey down on the table. I grab my waffles and sit on the dark brown chair, my bottom resting comfortably on the light gray cushion.

A tired and messy-haired Bella walks out of her room, joining me for breakfast. As I decide to get us some drinks, Delphi walks out of her room, yawning. We all eat peacefully together and I talk about our funny dreams and what happened this morning.
