"Oh..My..Goodness!" I squealed.

There were 3 beds that were not on the ground itself but hanging on the wall. You had to use a step stool to be able to climb up. (I added this in because the stone floor is freezing (Cuz here it's always cold) so it won't be so cold. I also didn't add a bunk bed for 1 reason. How are you gonna choose who goes where?)

"I call the middle bed!" I shouted as I attempted to get up without using the step stool.

"I call the one closest to the window!" Amanda squealed.

Just then, the door labelled "KITCHEN" swung open and a girl taller than Amanda but shorter than me stepped out.

Wearing a light grey t-shirt + denim shorts and bedroom slippers made her look comfy and cute.

"Who are you?" I blurted out.

"A girl, duh. Who are you?" She answered.

"I'm Amanda." Amanda said. She nudged me. Then it hit me, this was our dorm mate.

"I'm Autumn."

"Ahhh, you are our dorm mate, right?" I asked.

She glanced over me before replying with an abrupt "Yes."

"Ahh, I'm April."

"Okay."

I glanced at Amanda who glared at me. I dragged her into the bathroom.

"Why did you upset her, you big fool." Whisper-yelled Amanda.

"How was I supposed to know she was our dorm mate?" I defended myself.

"Arghhh." Amanda sighed and walked out of the bathroom.

I went to my trunk and quickly unpacked.

My hair was still plastered on my neck, and my clothes were positively drenched in sweat.

Grabbing my towel, I entered the bathroom again and took a nice, refreshing bath.

As I relaxed on my bed, Autumn barged in. "Help, please!" I leaped from the bed and sprinted off with her.

I reached the courtyard and gasped.

A girl had apparently tripped over a rusty stake and it had pierced through her chest. She lay in a small pool of blood and was unconscious.

Amanda was kneeling next to her and cradling her head.

Immediately I recalled some medical basics from high school.

"First, do not remove the stake from her. Autumn, run to Ms. Williams or one of the teachers, quick!"

I kneeled next to Amanda and checked the girl's pulse and her breathing.

"She is not breathing but there's a faint pulse." I informed Amanda.

I started to perform CPR while trying not to move the stake.

After about half an hour of CPR, Ms. Williams arrived and called the ambulance.

I started to get cramps so I handed the CPR to Amanda.

Beep, beep, "Excuse me, emergency team coming through!" Said a voice.

I sighed with relief.
