Another Bite

Chapter 1

My mother is dead and I hurt my mate. Why did this have to happen to me? Why me?! Then I hear a twig break in front of me. I jump up glaring at the person in front of me. "What do you want?!" I shout in rage and the person steps out of the shadows with many other people. All their eyes flash red and they bare their fangs except the one in front of me.

I growl and flash my eyes baring my fangs also. "Oh Malena, put those away." Says the man in the sun glasses, I don't listen to him. "Who are you?" I growl and the man smirks at me. "Deucalion." And that's the last thing I hear before one of the Alpha injects me with wolfsbane. "Derek." I whisper before darkness consumes me.

~2 Months Later~

Run.

Run is the only going through my head. The light gray fur on my coat is covered in dirt and blood. My blood. They would beat me till I passed out of blood loss. They broke my connection with Derek. Derek. Derek my mate. Before they broke the connection I could feel his sadness and it was unbearable. I cried my self to sleep every night. I used my claws and made cuts across my wrist.

They did this to me. They did this to me! Who done this to me?

The Alpha pack did this to me!

After about a couple of miles I collapse to the forest floor. I'm so weak that I can't even lift my head off the ground. I hear footsteps come near me and I try and lift up my head. I look up to see a man looking down at me. He has black hair, tanned skin, and a masculine body. He smells like death. I think that's what vampires smell like.

I shift back to my human form and cover my chest looking up at him once again. "Can you help me please?" I whimper out and the man looks me strait in the eyes. He crotches down to me. "What happened to you?" He asks me and I stare at the ground hugging myself. "They took me away and beat me until I finally got away from them." I stuttered and the man puts his hand on my shoulder but I flinch away. "Who's them?" He asks and I look at him. "The Alpha pack." I whisper and the man just looks confused.

Then he stood up and took off his tee shirt. "Here put this on." He tells me handing me the shirt. I take it from him and slowly put it on, it goes down to my thighs. "So what's your name?" He asks picking me up from the ground and carrying me through the forest. "Malena." I tell him and he nods at me. "I'm Damon and if you don't know yet I am a vampire." He informs me. "I thought you were considering you smell like death." I say and he chuckles.

"Where am I?" I ask and Damon smirks at me. "Mystic Falls, Virginia." He says and my eyes widen. "What?! How he hell did I get here from all way from California!" I exclaim and Damon just shrugs. "Okay if I were you I would hold on." He says and I put my arms around his neck. Then he starts using vampire speed to run to the front of a very big house.

I smell around trying to get used to my surroundings. "Okay I smell two more vampires and a werewolf with a little of death mixed in." I say and scrunch up my nose at the smell of death. It's the same smell I smelled when I saw my mom dead covered in blood. I shake my head at the memory and push it back.

"Well the last thing you said is something called a hybrid, half werewolf and half vampire." Damon says opening the door. "Makes sense." I mumble and look around the huge house. Damon carries me up some stairs into a bedroom. He lays me down into a king size bed and walks out of the room while putting a different shirt on. I hear him walk down stares calling someone's name.

"Elena, I need some of your clothes." Damon says. "Why?" I hear a female voice say who I'm guessing is Elena. "Because I found a teenaged werewolf girl in the woods covered in blood and she needs clothes." Damon says. "Werewolf?" I hear some male deep voice say with an accent. "Klaus!" I hear Damon shout before I look up to see a man standing in front of me.
