" YOU'RE ACTING WEIRD," youngjae says, nudging his elbow a few times as the two teens went down the stairs together. school had just ended, and it felt like the most tiring 8 hours of saera's life. i do have somebody to blame for that though, she thought.

saera raised an eyebrow at the boy as he gave her a look in return. " am i wrong? you got hit by the dodgeball sixteen times today during physical ed."

she approached her locker to store some textbooks, with youngjae trailing behind her. " so? what if i just suck at dodgeball? ".

she heard youngjae snort behind her. " please! you, of all people? the same person who said early this year," he cleared his throat, getting ready to quote the resolution that saera had made at the start of the year. " i, jo saera, refuse to let anybody hit me anywhere during dodgeball in p.e because i have a perfec-,".

saera quickly cupped a hand over his mouth, glancing over at the different students who were walking by them, intrigued by the boy's loud speech. she pulled youngjae closer to her locker as he stumbled a little, falling back. he was now leaning against the locker, with saera's left hand gripping onto his tie.

their faces were only a few inches away now. saera stared into the boy's eyes firmly as he gulped, "s-s-saera...? how long did you like me f-for..? ".

" no way! eric! " she groaned, pulling herself away from him as she face palmed. youngjae cried, " don't call me that! ".

" i was joking! " youngjae laughs, putting an arm around saera's neck. she frowned as he continued to laugh. " but for real though, you definitely have something in mind, no? c'mon, i'm your longest friend. we've been together since we were, what, 5? i know how you are like."

saera kept quiet. she pursed her lips and bit her cheek, looking elsewhere. youngjae snickered upon seeing this, " ohoho, you're definitely not the saera i know. is it a guy? is it? is it? ".

he got all close to her, smirking, as he anticipated for her reply. she looked a way a couple of times before groaning, pushing his face away. " if i tell you, would you shut up? ".

youngjae nodded, saluting. saera laughed at her best friend's dorkiness. " okay, okay. not here though. wanna drop by the convenience store and get ice cream? we'll hang by the park after."

" sure," youngjae grins. " how about the others? ".

" kyla told me that she ended school earlier today and that she's hanging with a few kids from her club and the boomers are having a lab examination after school," saera explains as youngjae mouths an 'oh'.

" and anyway, i'll only be telling you," saera adds. " it's not really something i want the others to know about."

the boy let out an exaggerated gasp. " damn, it's that deep huh? ".

saera nods, her eyes trailing elsewhere. she hums. " well, if you're me, yeah."
