I open my eyes and looked about to find my mother at my bedside.
(Emily is alive in this book. Also dont know which spelling it is let me know please.)

"Mother" I muttered sitting up. Stretching by arms above my head.
"Who's Marinette?" She asked with a smirk. My eyes widened and a blush soon discovered it self on my cheeks.

"My daughter" another's voice said. This tone wasn't as cheerful as my mothers. I turn my head at the source. Sabine. She looked at me and she looked angry.
"Why would you be dreaming of Mrs Sabines child?" my mother asked curious.
I blinked how was I supposed to know why I dreamt that her daughter was my wife.
"No reason" I lied. My mother simply hummed and place a kiss on my fore head.
"I have to go now. I'll see you after breakfast." She muttered before leaving.
"By any chance sire. Was it about the kiss you and my daughter shared yesterday?" Sabine asked causing me to choke on air.
"W-w-what kiss?" I sputtered before  inhaling deeply.
Sabine smirked, " Unknowingly to you. My husband had wandered out of out room to find you lip locked with our child. You seemed very content with you actions sire" she explained. My blush grew. Oh dear.
I opened my mouth to speak but she beat me to it.
"What was the dream about?" She asked. I looked at her.
"She was my wife " I answered simply. The biggest smile on my face.
She looked shocked.
"Your wife? Why?"she asked.
"I. I dont know. Just we were sat next one another on the throne room and we were holding hands . The wedding band was pressed firmly in my palm as a constant reminder. She was wearing a gown and she looked stunning. She was beautiful and mine and I. I was happy" I say. Kind of forgetting that I was talking to the mother of the woman I had dreamt about. She smiled at me.
"I didn't mean why the dream. Dreams are meant to be a mystery. I meant why steal my daughters lips as your own?" She asked.
"Oh. Um. I don't know. Just. She had that gorgeous smile of hers on that beautiful face of hers. She was talking and treating me as if I were a normal person not the prince. She even  laughed at my puns and jokes which really aren't that funny and she was. She was just perfect." I tell her. She smiled at me.
"How do you feel about my daughter?" She asked. Wow she really isn't subtle in any way.
"I understand that I've only know her a day. And in that day I had stolen a kiss from her. But she makes me feel. Like I'm me. She makes me complete. And if another man were to show any interest in her. I would have to get rid if him. She makes my heart flutter. Even if it's someone saying her name or mentioning her. Her laugh makes me smile like a madman. And honestly. I dont want her out of my life. I dont think I'll be the same ever again if she left or if anything were to happen to her." I rambled on. Not noticing the smile on Sabine's face or that my father had entered the room.
"So. Who is the young maiden that has stolen my sons heart?" I heard him ask. Sabine's smile faltered. I stood up to face him.
" Can you leave for a moment please Sabine" I ask her nicely. She nodded gratefully and left the room quickly.
The best way to do it is to beat around the bush.
"Marinette. Marinette Dupain-Cheng. " I tell him.
My fathers face went blank.
