The prince and the maids' daughter

Part 7

We stared at the door as Mama walked in with a pile of clean clothes.
"Honey can you..." She started. Her voice trailing off as she noticed the Prince, standing in his underwear hugging me.
" Morning Mama" I said  blushing as she stared at us. Adrien rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
"Goodmorning Mrs Dupain-Cheng" He greeted.
"Goodmorning" She muttered. She just stared at us.
"What happened?" She asked. Adrien looked at me and smiled and he grabbed my hand. Interlocking our fingers together. He brought my hand to his lips. Proudly showing off the engagement ring.
I looked at my mother with a big smile.
"We're getting married" I tell her as I rest my head against Adrien's bare chest.
"What?" She asked. She fell to the floor.
"Mama." I say as I saw my mother unconscious. I looked at Adrien as the worried look etched on his face.

Time skip till later in the evening

Adrien and myself spent the day together. Mama had come round not so long after we announced to engagement to my Papa. They spent a while talking and questioning everything. We answered everything. With as much detail as possible, considering that we didn't have any. They supported our decision.

Now we were waiting for Adrien's parents inside his room. We sat together on his bed. His arm wrapped tightly around my waist as I rested my head against his shoulder. We were nervous. You could tell. I sigh shakily. Soon the King and Queen entered the room. We stood up.

This was going to be a long conversation.
