Like flower never chose it's colour- Stroker
Run.
I run towards the pathway, scruntinizing the sky that getting dark. Sweat fulfil onto my entire body. I keep jogging until I feel thirsty, drying my throat. As soon as seeing the park, I jog over. Hyperventilate breath promiment. Drinking as much as I can, unrealizing the last drop have watered the drought.
My eyes contemplate surronding, as usual there must be peoples do sport too, but now no one caught a glance. Perhaps because rain about fall down.
Bushy about feet away from me abruptly a bit stir, as soon as possible I jogg yet, be off the area. Homeless sometimes undertake to steal. I fastened my speed as someone like following me. The worst my flat is three miles away. I curse under my heavy breath as my phone pulsates inside my pocket repeatedly. Trying to ignore, but my phone is going crazy. Picking up over my pocket, my eyes widened. Unknown number sending pictures of my back. With second, I tilt my head, look behind, but I found nothing. Another message pop again. Sending me a shiver.I watch you.
Shit! Who is this pervert!?
I slander as loud as I am, surrounding becomes dark, no one severely pass the road. Nothing can rescue me if something bad happen. I swipe the screen as open camera, holding my phone in selfie position. Checking is there anyone trailing behind me. With feeble thumb, I tap to switch back camera into front. Fact, sending me into the real haunt, a man with hoodie and dark blue mask, running against me. Just two of us.
At the first my body flinches as an idea hopefully give me enlightenment,
turning aside as running towards Ian's apartment. From here his abode closer instead of mine. Praying to God as wishing that man ain't trailing me yet.As soon as Ian's apartment closer, I fastened my pace, before my leg lead to the entrance, I glimpse over.
That man have the same direction as me, venturing into the gate, make sure if I carry myself in safe spot. Again, I glimpse. He glances up when our eyes meet. From few distances, I can perceive his dark puppils. Screening me. His mask shifts, grinning under his cover. Suddenly freak me out.
Shaking my head, I run again to Ian's room, paranoid haunting me like that man chasing after me.
When I arrive exactly in front of his room.
I knock his door harshly, hoping he isn't work during holiday. Since my mind bring me to unreal chronology, if Ian isn't here, I'd walk again to the same path just now, someone shadowing me to my flat. That conjectures drive me unsane."Ian open the door!"I rise my voice. However there is no respond.
"Ian! It's me Li-" my sentence is deducted by his tall stature.
"Patience!"Ian yells as realizing who is come in. His eyes heed against my atrocious appearance, "Lily? Why are you lathery? Is everything okay?" He pulls me in as bobs his head outside curiously.
"I'm okay, I just jogging arround here."I lie, however from my deepest part, I wanna hug him, revealing everything about this morning as cry on his shoulder.
My mouth refused all."Who is that?" Female voice comes out as woman around his age emerges behind the wall.
"Is that your girlfriend?" She asks, her brows arch.
"Yes, she is." He responds.
I gulp, "You are with another girl?" I whisper until my voice like going dissapear.
"Barbara is my partner in duty."Ian rubs my tense shoulder with circle, telling me nothing to worried.
I sigh in relief.
