The Last Sip

Two days later, I'll be graduated. Then Married. Leave environtment, my job, student, friends, etc. That's why, striving a lot to spend entirely days rest.

After the day  a stranger trailed me, hopefully he didn't interfere me yet. Ian handed me a dagger, I revealed everything as regretting never let him swimming deeper against my life, Ian gives me protection, but it's like I'm not using it, waste all in a trash.

Wind blows on my face, I have waiting for Cole in  the cafe nearly his school. Quaint stuffs happened, yesterday he said I blocked his number a week ago, I swear to God, I wouldn't do that without any excuse. Until now, I still flabbergasted. Worst part is , I delete Alan's number too. We lost contact since this whole week, despite Alan asked me to do him a favor. Arranging his little sister birthday. Nevertheless, I couldn't figure out his number as I regret for never asking his new address. Wishing he'll come back sooner or later.

Bell ringing, I glance at who is arrive. He driffts off the cafe's gate as promenades toward me. Cole takes a sit across, he scratches his neck.

"I thought you mad, so blocked my number." He smiles nervously as I shake my head instantly.

"Of course I have never do that, in spite of you pissed me . Regardless you are my student and friend."

"Glad to hear from you."He states in chipper, his body bows to take something as handed me a paper bag.

"What is it Cole, a separation gift?" I chuckle. What a beautiful package when I take a look inside.

Cole shrugs, "Open the tape though, hope you pleasure."

Well, I untie the tape as disclose this cute white box. My eyes widened as stare what thingy had been bought by him. "A petite camera! you bought me this sophisticated thing," I cover my mouth in disbelief.
"No Cole, I can't take this, with your drastic amendment of demeanors, you have given me a delight surprise," I tell off, handed him that precious box back.

He seems overwhelmed , twitching his lips onto mournful, "You said you had been stalked, I can't accompany you forever, I'm too coward to loose you. I mean you're the best tutor, friend to share, my mind's going crazy, thinking your live is in danger. You know I just can't let them happen, trust me I bought this sincerely for you, nothing can replace your existance, even mountains of bucks."

"Cole.."I say his name instead of wordless respond. He's too kind and sweet.

"Take it for me Lils. If you  want me to protect you even for a little. Install this in your room." Cole lower his voice, flitting menacingly to lug them home.

Pleasedly, I gaze him in baffle, however his eyes telling to let him be a knight. Eventually I nod surrenderly.

"Thanks." I mutter as note, "With me or without me, you have be very special person. Smart boy, nice kid. I just want to empahasize stuffs that you haven't seen yet inside yourself."

Cole ruffles his hair. "Lils, How many times supposed to I tell you!? I'm going to be similar like you. Joining Technical Metalurgy as you at University of Michigan, having flawless deeds like you do, everything, anything, you are my guidance, and after you said you're going to married, leave this town with your posessive boyfriend," He sighs harshly. "I don't know what I will be without your clue."

My eyes flutter, I just wanna let him know, I hate to renounce what I have accustomed here. For God's Sake I also desire to shout across his face  if I gonna stay here, remain as early. Regardless, I love Ian, my first and last. He arranged errands for my own goodness. Forcing me to be better, secure and comfortable by his attendance.

"We still can keep in touch each other in these twenty first centuries."I smile, trying a lot to make him smile too. He has tensed since he arrived here. Barely shocks me with his behavior recently.
