Redd went to sleep that night with their little kiss session on his mind. All he could think about was how soft his lips were and how much he trusted Redd enough to get close to his neck.

He couldn't stop thinking about him, and that led to an "interesting" dream.

Once he actually woke up, Redd felt his cheeks and they were already burning hot. Was he sick? No..

Oh..the dream..
Redd thought to himself before rubbing his hand down his face. A nice, hot shower got his mind off of it and got him ready for the day. He let out a soft sigh once he was dressed and made his way outside, but he was stopped by the feeling of his paw bumping against something. He looked down to see a pretty little basket that was neatly tied up. Inside were a few extra cupcakes from the batch the two had made together and a hand written letter.

Tom loved writing letters for some odd reason, he even went through a few penpals throughout his years. Such pretty handwriting..

Redd always kept all of Tom's letters to him. Each one was packaged so beautifully and he loved them all. Before leaving, he gently placed the basket down on his kitchen counter and saved the letter for later, so he put it in the small tub he had of all Tom's handwritten letters.

"Hi Redd!" Rosie cheered to him once he was out of the house. "Oh, hello." He waved with a light wag of his tail. "You seem like you're in a good mood." She pointed out before walking out from behind her fence to walk alongside him. "I just, had a good night last night..that's all." He explained with a faint smile since he was trying to hold back. "Oh? What happened?" She asked curiously. Redd shrugged, "I just got to hang out with someone I really enjoy.."

"Oh! Mr. Nook?" She asked. Redd seemed surprised she was able to guess. "How did you know?" He asked anxiously. "I saw you two walking to the cafe, which made me want coffee, but I get too hyper with coffee.."

"Uh-huh.." Redd let out, not really listening to her. "Hey, don't tell anyone about that, please? Tom would get pissed at me.."

"What, do you have a little crushy wushy?" She asked in a baby voice while poking his chest.

Redd simply folded his ears back and looked away.

Rosie gasped, "You do!" She said a bit loudly, so Redd covered her mouth. "Shush!" He silenced before looking around to be sure no one was looking, then he let go.

"Thats adorable!" Rosie added, "But you do know that Judy has a fling for him, right?"

"Who?" Redd asked with a seemingly disgusted face.

"Judy! Ya know, like, the most popular islander on well..the whole island, silly!" She explained while pointing over to the multicolored bear.

Redd scoffed, "Im not afraid of a little cotton candy dress-up Nova. Besides, Tom isn't into girls that much, he's more into guys." He explained before cutting himself off. "Oh- I shouldn't have told you that. Please don't tell anyone." Redd expressed anxiously and covered her mouth again. "Promise me you don't tell anyone, swear!" Redd repeated. Tom would be ENRAGED if he found out Redd was the one who told everyone.

Rosie just kept giggling though so Redd moved his hand, "Whats so funny?" Redd asked.

"I already know that, silly! I'm pretty sure most people do actually. He's very open about it!" She said happily.

Redd let out a sigh of relief. "Oh thank God.."

"Look there he is now!" Rosie chimed which made Redd stand up straight. "Rosie." Tom said simply with a small bow of his head. "Redd, I hope Orville managed to get my letters to you." Tom added, lightly wagging his tail with a smile.
