Vanitas made it to class just in time for the teacher to call roll.
"Aerith Gainsborough?"
"Here."
"Roxas Strife?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Vanitas Ravenblood?"
"Here."
"Squall Leonhart?"
"It's just Leon, but yeah, Here."
"Seifier?"
"Here."
"Axel Homura?"
No response.
"Okay, I guess-"
Just before the teacher could finish, the door was swung open.
"I'm so sorry, I was helping my mother get her class set up, I didn't realize-"
"It's quite alright, just take a seat next to Strife over there."
Axel sat down next to Roxas and Roxas seemed to blush as he sat down.
When free time rolled around, Vanitas sat next to Roxas and Axel, since they were able to move seats.
"Hey guys." Vanitas said.
Axel seemed to recognize Vanitas after all these years.
"Hello Vanitas." Axel said with a smile.
Roxas' face was still kinda red. He seemed to be like that because he was super close to Axel.
"So, how are you doing after all these years?" Axel said.
Vanitas didn't know what to say. He didn't want to talk about his abuse, or what happened all those years.
"Good."
He stumbled to say that word, he knew he wasn't doing good. The door was swung open and the principal entered.
"There was a student choking at lunch, does anyone in here know a....
Sora Ravenblood?"
Vanitas had a horrified look on his face.
"Is he alright?!"
The principal shrugged but she didn't hold back the answer.
"We don't know, all we know is he won't be coming back to school for a few months we're sending a message to his mother, he's in the nurse's office right now."
Vanitas ran out of the classroom in a hurry. He didn't know what to, Sora was fine this morning. Why is this happening.
