Xehanort was arrested a while after he had stabbed Sora. Luckily Sora was still alive when he got to the hospital. Vanitas stood outside of the room and looked at his brother. He was out cold. Niko and his mother were sitting in the chairs behind him until Niko walked over to him. "I still can't believe dad did this, especially to Sora." Both his sister and his mother didn't know about his abuse, they only knew about Sora's.
A few months went by and Vanitas and his mother were waiting for Sora to get home. There was a knock on the door and when Vanitas opened it he was happy to see a cheerful smile.
"Hey Vani." Sora said.
Vanitas hugged his brother tight and pulled him closer.
"It's nice to see you again Sora."
Sora hugged his brother back. Niko came downstairs and smiled.
"I swear, you guys are like a close couple."
Vanitas jumped at the sound of his sister's voice. He wasn't expecting her to come down, nor was he expecting her to speak to him. He really didn't like how she compared him and Sora to a couple they were brothers.
"That's enough Niko, you and your brothers have high school tomorrow so I suggest you get ready for bed." Their mom said in a stern voice.
Vanitas headed to his room and lied down on his bed. He couldn't believe the pain was over. He didn't have to worry about getting hit. He was finally able to breathe.
