Shaking's POV

"1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8." shouted Kiki.

I was in dance rehearsal along with a few other girls. This was a performance that was gonna be evaluated by the dance instructors from our college.

We had these performances every other month so that the teachers made sure that we were up to par.

I don't really regret accepting an invite to a performing arts college, but I wasn't really expecting it to get too tough.

When I auditioned for this school we were able to audition with a combination of singing and dancing which they called "stage performance", or separately, art, or music.

When I received the email of acceptance, I read I was a part of the few people who made it to the stage performance academy! Apparently this academy was only open for a select amount of students.

Back to the dance rehearsal..

I was a part of a group of girls to perform a song called Non Daily Revelry.

The names of the girls were,
-Kiki Xu
-Xiaotang Zhao
-Sun Rui
-Esther Yu
-Jin Zihan
-Kong Xueer

When I entered the room for the rehearsal there was a pair of tables with many chairs surrounding the tables.

There were three girls that were sitting near each other.

Those girls were Kong Xueer, Kiki Xu, and Sun Rui.

I walked up to the table and asked if this was the room for the Non Daily Revelry rehearsal.

"Oh, Hi you must be.. Xie Keyin?" Kiki said as she looked up at me.

Uhm, yeah that's me. You can call me Shaking since it's my stage name.

"Good! I like that stage name. This is the right room by the way. You can take a seat. We're gonna be talking about the lyrics and which parts were all gonna have for the first half. We'll start dancing the second half."

I nodded as I sat down next to Kiki and her other friends.

Im not gonna lie. Kiki shocked me. I saw Kiki around the first day on campus. She looked stunning.. and she looks stunning today as well.

I shook my head as I took my phone out to scroll through instagram.

Minutes pass by as all the other girls start to pile in.

I recognize Xiaotang Zhao as she walks in and I wave to her.

She smiles and waves back at me as she walks towards me to sit next to me.

"I wonder how this is gonna go." Xiaotang whispered in my ear.

Same. This shouldn't be too awful though.

All the girls pull up a seat and start to talk about which parts we would get in the song.

"Okay I think we should settle the parts for rap. Who here can rap?"

I raise my hand and Sun Rui raises her hand.

"Ok well, you can pick your parts since there are two separate verses that are rap."

Sounds fair enough.

I flip through the pages and pick the verse I like.
