Sage quickly slid on her black skinny jeans while tying her red flannel around her waist. She rolled on some mascara before throwing her hair up into a messy bun.
She tumbled down the stairs, not wasting any time to catch her breath.
"Bye mum!" She yelled, as she swung open the front door.
"Where are you going, sweetie?" Asked Mrs. Evans, Sages mum.
"Date with Luke gotta go bye!" Sage quickly replied before slamming the door behind her.
Luke's car was parked in her driveway; he had been waiting the past 20 minutes for sage. Luke had important news to tell Sage, and wanted to tell her over coffee. Sage, being the forgetful person she is, forgot to set an alarm this morning and was awakened by Luke calling as he pulled into the driveway, twenty minutes earlier.
Sage was still half asleep, but her face lit up once she saw Luke.
The two had met when they were 10, and had been best friends ever since. They only started dating a year ago, but their relationship is inseparable. Sage loved Luke so much, and Luke was too whipped to even realize how much he loved her back.
Sage hopped into Luke's car and quickly pressed a kiss to Luke's cheek.
"Hey Lucas." She smirked.
"Babe you forgot about our date!" Luke pouted, trying not to giggle.
"I know I'm sorry. Forgive me?" Pleaded Sage, flashing her big, brown puppy eyes.
Luke didn't answer, he just slammed his lips onto Sages.
"God you're so hot." He mumbled between kisses.
"Okay Luke we should really go." Replied Sage, breaking off the kiss.
The car ride went fast, and they soon arrived at a cute coffee shop in downtown Sydney.
After ordering, they found a spot to sit and enjoy their coffees. Luke was nervous, but he put on a fake smile.
"So." Luke started.
"So." Sage giggled back.
Luke couldn't help but smile at Sage. He loved her so much, even though they were both only sixteen years old.
"So I have great news, well, sort of great news." Luke began to explain.
"What is it?" Sage eagerly replied.
"Well one direction invited us to go on tour with them!" Luke exclaimed, his face lighting up.
Luke was in a band called 5 seconds of summer with 3 other boys. Michael Clifford, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin.
"Luke that so amazing! I'm so happy for you!" Sage practically shouted. She honestly was so proud of her boyfriend.
"But there's something else..." Luke said, nervously. "We'll be gone for 100 days."
"100 days?" Sage asked, as a wave of melancholy struck over her like a lightening bolt. "You're leaving for 100 days?" The tears began to well up.
"Don't cry, babe. We'll make it work, I promise." Luke smiled, trying to hide the nervous, doubtful expression on his face.
How would they ever make it 100 days...
"We leave tomorrow." Luke whispered, fighting back tears. He didn't want to cry, he was Luke Hemmings. But he didn't want to leave Sage. He was so excited for this opportunity, but it was hard not to be sad.
Sage just nodded, not being able to stop the tears that poured from her eyes. She tried to be happy for Luke, but she couldn't. How would she survive without Luke?
Luke stood up from his seat in the coffee shop and took Sage in his arms.
"I love you, Sage. It's going to be okay." Luke cooed, although he was on the verge of tears.
