Macies POV:
I pulled in to the parking lot and headed to the gym to grab my schedule.
"Macie!" Kamri yelled across campus.
"Ahh calm down," I said as she jumped on me," we went surfing together yesterday!"
"Haha sorry," she said. We got our schedules and realized that we had 5 out of 7 of our classes together. We began to head towards our lockers.
"Ohh Macie, Chris is looking at you!" Kamri teased.
"Oh shut up, like Mark hasn't been staring at you all summer. Is there something going on between you two that I should know about?" I questioned.
"No!", She responded, a little to quickly. We both looked at each other and started to laugh.
"Come on tell me," I insisted once I had finished laughing.
"Fine," she said," So...I don't know I guess we have had a 'thing' going since the beginning of the summer."
"Well has he asked you out yet?"
"We have talked about it before but honestly I don't think we are ready to date yet, because he has to many other commitments that takes up most of his time." Kamri explained.
"Ok, I get it," I said don't worry it will happen!"
"How do you know?!" she asked.
"Are you kidding me I have been waiting for this since sixth grade!" I replied. She looked at me and blushed. I smiled back at her and we got to our class and started our day.

We finish our first four periods with the third class separate from each other. We met up at our usual spot in the corner of the quad, under a large tree.
"Ughh, I am already so done with school!" Kamri complained.
"Haha so am I, hey we are going to hit the waves after school right?" I asked
"Are you crazy?!....Of course we are!" replied Kamri.
"Sweet," I replied. We continued to go throughout the school day until the long awaited bell rang. I pulled out my phone and asked Kamri if she just wanted to come straight to my house once she grabbed her bikini and board. It took awhile but she finally replied and said that she was almost home and would be over in ten minutes.
I arrived home and quickly ran up to my room. I grabbed my favorite ripcurl bikini and changed into it. I stopped to look in the mirror before I went down stairs. I saw what I had seen my whole life. I had always been active so I had muscle, I am about 5'5 with a deep tan (since summer had just ended) and sandy blonde wavy hair. I was basically just your typical 16 year old surfer. I realized that I was getting lost in my thoughts when Kamri opened my door."What are you doing,"she said with a laugh.
"Ummm I am not really sure." I admitted with a laugh.
"I have the weirdest friend!" said Kamri.
"Hey, you don't have the weirdest friend I do!"
"That's rude!" laughed Kamri.
"Come on let's go already I have been waiting since this morning!" With that we headed to my car and drove off to our favorite surfing spot.
