Olicity: Kids in the Arrow cave

"Safe"

Oliver woke up with a start. He looked around and was relived to see Felicity still lying next to him. He smiled as He stroked her stomach and watched her shift in her sleep as she sighed contently.

This is where he always wanted to be. With his beautiful wife in his arms forever. He saw her eyes flutter open and meet his. "Mornin." she mumbled. "Morning." he replayed. "What time is it?" she asked. "I don't know. And I don't really care. Lets just stay like this all day." he said smiling at her. She smiled back and snuggled back in his arms.

"I made a promise to you Felicity." he whispered as he again stroked her stomach. "And now I want to make it to both of you. You will always be safe in my arms." he gazed into her eyes as she gazed back. "I love you Oliver." She whispered.

Oliver could barely breath as he walked into Slades layer. He desperately looked around for any sign of Felicity. He couldn't even consider the possibility that Slade had already killed her. He just couldn't bare it. He turned a corner with his bow raised to find Slade holding Felicity with a sword to her throat.

"Drop your bow kid." Slade said. "Or I'll cut her throat." Oliver lowered it as he stared into Felicitys eyes. Silently telling her he loved her. "I want you to feel my pain. I want you to feel her blood on your skin." Slade said, tears streaming out of his eye. "Don't touch her." Oliver growled. Slade laughed as he shoved Felicity onto the ground. The blade lifting slightly.

Now Felicity. Oliver thought. Thankfully she was moving. Standing up and palming the cure. She quickly jammed the cure into Slades neck. That's my girl. Oliver thought as he let his first arrow fly.
