The Interrogation (idk is that how you spell it?)

Percy was looking at his phone, and he had it tilted away from my view.
I sighed in annoyance.
"Percy, what are you looking at?" I asked curiously peering at the screen.
To my surprise he had a personality quiz open.
I sent him a puzzled look.
He smiled brightly at me. "Hey wanna see what color your soul is?" He asked, flashing those white teeth.
I swallowed.
"Not really." I muttered.
He smiled again. Seriously it's as if that guy can never not smile! "Good. I'll ask, you answer."
I huffed in annoyance but went along with it anyway.
"Alright Ghost King," Percy started. I blushed at the nickname. "What's your favorite color?" He asked.
I frowned. "I don't do favorites, but if I'd have to choose I'd say sea green." Like your eyes. I mentally added, then shook my head.
Percy nodded and put in the answer. "Moving on, how would you react if someone were to take your best friend and punch them in the face?"
I crossed my arms. "I don't have any best friends."
Percy looked sadly at me. "Really? That's horrible."
I shook my head. "I like it that way. Once I get attached it's that much worse when I lose them."
"I don't care, I'm changing that. Say hello to your new best friend, Ghost King." Percy said, grinning like a goof.
I blushed again. "Why would you want to be..." I trailed off.
"Best friends with you?" He finished when he realized I wasn't ending that sentence.
"Because, you're lonely and you need friends, and you're nice and funny and I want to be friends with you."
I sat there, looking at him, shocked.
Did he just say what I think he said?
No, nobody ever wants to be friends with me. What's going on?
"You sure? It won't be awkward even after you found out about... you know." I said stupidly.
He smirked. "Nah, I don't care about that. You're free to like whoever you want, though I am a bit upset I keep friend-zoning you even though I know about your feelings. It feels a bit twisted of me, you know?"
I shrugged. "it doesn't matter, anyway. I already know you're straight, and I knew before; you knowing about me liking you doesn't make much of a difference."
"Yeah..." Percy agreed, though he seemed a bit hesitant.
"Anyway, you need a nickname for me." He said, mood much lighter now for some reason.
"No." I stated bluntly.
"Aw, come on Ghost King, all best friends need nicknames!" He whined, resting his head on my shoulder and looking up at me with puppy eyes.
I pushed his head off of me.
"Fine, whatever." I mumbled.
"Yes! Call me, uh, Water Wielder." He said, holding his hands out in front of him for emphasis.
I looked at him dully. "Absolutely not." I said.
"Fine, how about, Sea Seer. Or Bubble Butt! Or perhaps Seaweed Sorcerer." He offered.
I snorted. "Bubble butt?"
He grinned widely and nodded.
I couldn't help but let out a small giggle at his childish nickname and mannerism.
Percy gasped and grabbed my face. "NICO! Keep your face like that forever!" He said.
I blinked.
"You look so amazing when you smile, but you do it so sparingly. You need to smile more. It makes your eyes brighter, and they look really pretty." He complimented.
I was stunned from the sudden compliment.
My cheeks heated up in his hands and I felt the blood rush to my face. "I-" But I didn't know what to say.
I just stared at his gorgeous face, lost as if in a trance.
I'd never been complimented like that. Ever. The nicest comment from someone who wasn't family was from some strange Demeter girl who said I was hot.
That was nothing compared to this.
I think I was gaping for too long though because Percy tapped my nose softly with his index finger.
"You awake?" He asked, chuckling as I snapped from my daydream.
"Y-yeah..." I stuttered.

I was lazily staring out the window when Percy spoke up again.
"Hey we never finished that personality quiz." He said.
