Chapter 9

6 months later...

Rose's POV

"Hunters shut the fuck up! Guardian Croft has something to tell us!" They all shut up and listened.

"I know you have done a good job in your killings of strigoi so I am giving you a week off. You will have to be at Court though. If you have family you can call them to come to Court."

When Hans left Mayfly said, "I think I'm going to relax the whole week."

"You have to keep your strength up. We will meet at the gym in the morning and evening." I tell them.

We have gotten better and better. I found a psi hound pup and healed it with the darkness so I am his master. His name is Killer. He has silver teeth enhanced with the four elements so he can also kill strigoi. Killer has become very useful. We have gotten to like him. When we are not on a mission we are working out with Killer or running away from Killer to make us faster.

With Killer we have gotten almost as fast as strigoi. I only have a link to Killer. Killer is part of out squad. He fits right in. He doesn't attack the squad. But he does with other people he doesn't know. Unless I tug his coller and tell him to calm down through the bond.

We like Killer very much.

When we got on the plane I sat next to Killer to calm him down. I fell asleep on Killer.

I was woke up bye Killer in my head saying, 'Ro time to get up we just landed.' "Thanks for that Killer. I'm also going to have to put you on a leash so you don't get to far from us. Okay? Alright."

"Everyone get up. Get your stuff and move out of the plane."

Every one did what they were told. When we were off the plane I was greeted by Lissa, Sparky, Eddie, Dimitri, Tasha, and the rest of the gang.

"Killer calm down. These are good people. Don't hurt them."

"Rose, I've missed you so much." said Dimitri. "I also love you. I want you back." he said in my ear. "You will not get me back and I do not love you. Get this through your stupid little head of yours." I tell him and push him away from me. I go to hug the gang and Tasha.

"I missed you so much. Tasha, Mia, Eddie, Mason, and Adrian you have not met my squad. This is Rat, Mouse, Sneaker, Tank, Rockhead, Zook, Mayfly, Rocket, X, and Basher. Squad these are my friends. None of you have met Killer."

"Why is his name Killer?" asked a scared Sparky.

"It's Killer because he can kill strigoi. We found him when he was a puppy and he was hurt. So I healed him from the darkness I take away from Liss."

"We can run almost as fast as strigoi because he chased us and now we are faster than we were. Let's get going to our rooms."

When we get to our rooms we un pack and meet up outside when we are done.

"Okay so who wants to keep Killer first. One person from each room raise your hand. Tank you want Killer first?" He nods yes. "Second?" Mayfly raised her hand. "We get him second. Who's third?" X raised his hand. "X gets Killer third. Fourth?" Rat raised her hand. "Rat gets Killer last."

"Lets go eat I am starving."

We went to the cafe. Everyone waited outside when I went in and ordered 12 cheeseburgers. When I came out with the cheeseburgers Killer had his down in two bites. I had mine down in four bites. "Hey Sarge I think Killer is the master at eating now." said Mayfly.

"Sarge some one is coming." X said.

When I looked I saw Dimitri coming right to me. When he was close enough he said, "Rose please take me back. I still love you."
