"Are you sure that you are fine?" I asked once again and ran my fingers through her hair "Yes I'm fine. I don't know where that came from. But I'm fine I promise" she lifted up her head from my chest and looked up at me. "So don't worry. I'm fine" She cupped my cheeks and kissed me.

"I'm just worried. I don't want you to be sick" I kissed her gently on her forehead. "And that's very sweet of you. But I am fine"

I then pushed myself up, but one arm still wrapped around her. She stroke away from the curl in my forehead and lifted her head to kiss me. I trailed kisses along her neck and she let out a moan "Shh you are going to wake up Adam" I whispered and pointed up from the mattress I and Hannah shared that laid on the floor at the end of the bed.

"And you don't want that do you?" I smirked at her and she just hit me on my chest. "Then don't do that" "Oh you mean this?" I kissed her weak spot at her neck and she bit her lip. "Yes, that. Stop before I sleep on the couch. I don't want to do this when your son is sleeping just a few inches away from us"

"Okay, you have a point" I rolled my eyes playfully and kissed her one more time on the lips before I laid down beside her and pulled her closer to my chest.

I woke up before Hannah and sat up from the mattress and saw that Adam was awake. "Good morning buddy" I whispered and he just stretched out his arms to me.

I carried him out to the kitchen and sat him down on the counter while I started to make breakfast. I still can't believe that I have my son this near me. That I actually got the chance to meet him and have him for 24 hours. This is a dream coming true. "So what do you want to do today? We have plenty of time before mommy is coming and pick you up. Maybe you want to go to the park?"

His eyes shoot up, they sparkled and a big smile spread all over his face. "And then maybe you want to go to the toyshop and you can choose any toy you want"

"Yes! Spider-man!" "You can get how many spider-man toys as you want" I smiled at his cuteness.

"Here you go, buddy. Homemade pancakes" "Yay!" He clapped his hands and wiggles with his small legs.

"I'm just gonna go and wake up Hannah. Then we will have breakfast" I kissed him on his forehead and I was just going to turn around when I heard a knock on the door.

I furrowed my eyebrows, thinking who could be knocking on my door this early.

I opened the door and it made me in shock and confused to see Gemma standing in front of me.

"I'm here to pick up my son. Is he ready?" "Uh, didn't we say that you should pick him up at 3 pm? It's only 8 am"

"Yeah, I know. But I want to pick him up now. So can I get him?" She took a step closer to me and tried to enter my apartment but I took a step aside and blocked her way. "No, you'll pick him up at 3 pm as we said. He is my son as well. You see him every day and I have never met him before so I refuse that you are going to pick him up now" I crossed my arms and she just rolled her eyes.

"Come on Shawn, don't be such a kid. Give me Adam now" "I'm not the one that is a kid here. I won't give you him now. I'm going to give you him at 3 pm. The time we decided"

"You have always been like this and I don't like it" "Well then it's a good thing that you don't live with me anymore. I'm just following what we decided and you just do things whenever you want to. So take your suitcase and come back at 3 pm" I slammed the door in her face and walked back to the kitchen to see Hannah already helping Adam with the pancakes.
