It wasn't long before they came upon a cozy cottage decked in lights. Even though it wasn't anywhere near Christmas the brothers seemed to find comfort in the bright colors. Frisk never knew why that was though, they resolved to ask them sometime.
Frisk smiled as they bounced up to the door, knocking briskly. From the other side they hear muffled voices. "OH! WHO COULD THAT BE?!"
" i dunno, bro. maybe you should check it out."
"INDEED I WILL, BROTHER!"
They hear enthusiastic footsteps and then are greeted with the beaming face of papyrus, he's so tall that they couldn't help but feel tiny whenever they interacted with him. At first it had been scary, but now whenever they met him they couldn't help but be put at ease, knowing how kind and gentle the skeleton was.
"OH HO! IT IS THE HUMAN! ...AND LADY ASGORE! WHAT BRINGS YOU TWO HERE?"
Frisk smiled up at him and started signing. "We brought you and sans some pancakes!"
Sans soon appears next to his brother, he had managed to drag himself off the couch he had been lounging on. He too was dwarfed by his taller brother, so much so that he looked shorter than he actually was, which is saying a lot because in actuality, sans was slightly shorter than frisk.
"heya kid. heya tori. i heard something about pancakes?"
Toriel smiled, "indeed you did sans. Frisk and I have finished making some blueberry pancakes and wanted to share some with you two!"
" well, im looking forward to seeing how they stack up."
Toriel snorts and papyrus rolls his eyes, frisk can't help but grin.
"COME INSIDE YOU TWO!" Said papyrus, ushering them inside with a smile.
Sans had slumped on the couch and was absentmindedly watching television. Papyrus and Toriel strode into the kitchen to prepare the pancakes, Toriel hadn't wanted to stay, but Papyrus had insisted and not even Toriel could say no to him. Frisk hopped up onto the couch next to Sans, as one of their favorite shows played in front of them.
