"See? See?" Brandon whisper yells before he began to grab his things, including the tote bag, throwing it over his shoulder again.

"You jinxed it," Nick grabs his black NY hat and last hoodie that could not fit in the bag. He noticed him going towards the door and he began to snap at him which caught his attention.

He shook his head. "We have to jump."

Nick pointed to the window, to which Brandon's eyes widen. "We're in the second floor."

"Brandon we don't have time we can't go that way. You want to get your ass beat?? We have to."

He grunted before passing him and opening the window and tossing the tote. "That's a long fall."

"B, please just go."

He took deep breaths. As he began easing himself out the window, Nick's father's voice boomed once again.

"Nicholas, I know you hear me!" His footsteps began moving about the home, which causes a surge of panic to go through the pair.

"Holy shit, hurry up!" Nick tosses his stuff down beside Brandon who flinches and wines as it was going to make him fall.  He then hangs down for only a moment before his fingers slip off the windowpane and he falls in the grass, someone landing on his feet but plopping back on his butt.

He looks at his hands and feels his body. "I'm alive!"

"Okay, but scoot over so I won't kill you." He sticks his head through the window first.

Nick's leg goes through the window before his door swings open as his father finds his son halfway through the window, ready to jump. He tried to go over to the window, but by that time Nick was well on his way to the ground.

His landing was not as graceful as Brandon, as he landed on his a certain way to where he heard a harsh pop and began to yell as he was suddenly in excruciating pain.

"Oh my God, Oh my God!"

"We should've just ran down the stairs," Brandon says, grabbing everything that was thrown on the floor.  "Can you walk?"

Nick looked up at his window to see his dad peaking out, but from that far he couldn't quite see his expression.

"Walk? We need to run." He got up from his awkward position and begins a sprint for the street, to which Brandon asks no questions and runs right behind him.

Nick's shouting as he runs as he's pumping his arms profusely as he tries to get far away as possible but stops and runs to sit down on the side of the road as tears fall from his eyes.

Brandon close behind comes up and throws his stuff beside him as he tries to figure out what exactly happened.

"So it's your arm? Where?"

"My fucking shoulder." He hisses, his head thrown down as his feet beat the ground rapidly as he tried to contain his pain.

"You probably dislocated it, but I'm not taking any chances." He whips out his phone and dials 911. He stands as he watches the boy wallows in his pain.

~*~*~
Nick lays in bed with his eyes closed, humming some random song. Brandon stood beside his bedside as if he were about to die, rubbing the bridge of his nose roughly as he couldn't keep still.

"They need to pop it back in place." He speaks up suddenly, the humming driving him crazy.

Nick smiled. "Nah, as long as I don't move it, I'm fine."

The nurse walks in, rolling up her sleeves with purpose. This takes Brandon from his panic state as he steps away from the bed. "Okay baby I'm going to need you to sit up for me."

"Huh?"

"We have to pop your shoulder in place so you can go home. "

His eyes widen like saucers as the woman approaches him and gently grabs his arm, holding it in a very specific position so it would pop back in the correct place. Nick began to flinch before it even happened, bracing for whatever pain was going to come.

There was a small audible pop in the facial expression that Nick made was indescribable. He threw his head back in winced. Brandon held in a laugh as he didn't want to seem rude or anything to the nurse. Suddenly, she began to laugh too.

"You have a bit of bruising as well, so just put some ice
on it and you should be fine," She smiled at him before nodding at Brandon before leaving the room.

B began to giggle. "Pussy."

"Next time we jump out a window let me push you out of it, yea?" His response was quick and aggressive as he hopped out the bed and to the curtain which separated them from other patients.

Brandon followed behind the aggressive boy, keeping a safe distance. He took all of their belongings, having no choice but to take them to the hospital with him. As they were near the entrance, Brandon couldn't help but notice a familiar boy rushing into the ER with a bloody eye. Nick obviously didn't notice, as he was too busy being annoyed.

He watched his blood dripped on the white tile probably standing it for a while as they probably wouldn't clean it up as soon as possible. "Yo, Nick isn't that Austin kid?"

"I don't care let's just go fucking home." He responded monotonously, not even turning to look.  Brandon continued to inspect the boy that looks like Austin, but then realizing that it was him, and he had busted his eyebrow open. It wasn't his business, So he wasn't going to investigate.

"Aye, get over it." He pushed Nick forward and he grunts. He pushed him in the shoulder by mistake, the wrong shoulder at that.

He stopped walking. "If I had the momentum I'll punch you right now,"

"That's my bad."

"It is. Which way are we walking?" He asked turning around to look at Brandon who pulled out his phone immediately.

He began to shake his head. "We will not be walking, my house is way too far for that," The cellular device goes to his ear.

Nick peered past Brandon, who began to speak to his mother on his phone. He began to walk back to the entrance, watching the brunette boy curiously now, his blood staining the floor as he waited for somebody to come help him at the front desk. He was intrigued by how bad the injury looked. Eventually, he did go back inside to see if it was really the Austin dude.

He touched his shoulder lightly, causing him to around, his finger still holding seem to be a good size hole right above his right eyebrow. It went deep and Nick couldn't stop gawking at it.

"The hell happened to you," Austin asked, referring to the blue sling his arm rested in.

"Me?" Nick pointed. "The hell happened to you? My shoulder dislocated. You got a hole on your body. "

He shrugged, he made it seem painless. His nonchalant manner almost frighten Nick. "Skateboarding, that's all. I took a heavy fall. How'd you do that though?"

"I jumped out a window, and I don't feel like going to detail." He looks at Brandon in the distance, who was still talking on the phone.

"That's not my business, man."

"Right. I just wanted to see something." Was all Nick saïd before giving a casual nod and jogging back out to Brandon.

"She'll be in here in like five. Was it him though?" He asked, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.

Nick nodded, sitting down on the curb and adjusting the sling a bit better. He looked for any cars that look familiar, though Brandon said she had been at most a few minutes away. "Skateboarding accident. He looks like he skates but that doesn't look like the case."

He sat down next to him, beginning to watch for cars as well. "Well that's his business."
