"I remember the darkness. It was really dark. I had tried to stand up but I fell. I tried again but my legs couldn't seem to move. I crawled forward until I fell down. I fell down an long flight of stairs. My head smashed against the floor and I passed out."
"What happened when you woke up?"
"I woke up on a bed, bandaged, and I sat up. My legs where finally working again. I stood up, nearly falling over, and I walked to the stairs. The room was much brighter now. I could see. I walked slowly up the stairs and, when I got to the top I..."
"What did you see at the top?"
"I saw dead bodies. There were so many off them. I started crying and I fell backwards. I woke up hours later back on the bed." I start crying. I hate showing my vulnerable side to people but I deserve a break.
"Miss... if you can't go on?" I wipe my eyes dry. I shake my head. "No, no. I'll continue." I take a deep breathe and continue. "I woke up in the same position as before. I walked up the stairs again but this time there was a door."
"A door?" She looks so surprised.
"Yes, a door. It had just appeared out of nowhere. I opened the door and walked through it. The door slammed shut behind me. I tried to turn back and open the door again but the door was locked. I turned back around but there was nothing there."
"What do you mean by nothing?" I shot an annoyed look at her. This woman kept interrupting me. She was really getting on my last nerve. "Sorry..." she says as her voice trails off. I throw a nasty look at her and continue. "Anyway, like I was saying, there was nothing there. The floor was completely gone. I knew that they wanted me to jump so I did. I jumped without thinking and I'm pretty sure that I broke something. The walls where all white except for one. It had black paint smeared on it. It was a message. I spun my head because I couldn't move my body. It said..."
"What did it say?" She sounded way to excited for this. I stare at her. She looks so embarrassed. Good. She deserved to feel the shame. "Can I finish?" She nods. "It said, '-Leslie XOXO'"
