Zodiacs Story

Chapter 4

  Libra Pov

     As soon as I got a hold of the first aid kit, I moved closer to Leo to take hold of his hand so I could clean and bandage it. It was clear that Leo had wanted to say something yet he was too late, his lips closing as soon as they opened, his head hanging low. Aries had left the room at that point and with the silence in the house, you could hear his footsteps as he made his way to the door. There was the opening and closing of the door, followed by the sound of the lock turning before silence fell upon the house once more.

     Cleaning the wound was much harder than I thought, Leo's hand twitching followed by a tiny mewl each time I wiped at the now dried blood surrounding the cut. After a good couple of minutes however, I deemed his cut clean 'enough', and pulled out a gauze and some cream for the cut. He wouldnt even glance at me as I dabbed the cream onto his cut and carefully wrapped his hand up. Then... The awkward silence was back.. 

   Nobody knew what to say to the boy.. We had only just met and didn't really know what to say to him.

   "So uh... That was awkward." Taurus spoke up. Though it was useless, seeing as she was met with silence. Aquarius rising to her feet is what caught my attention, seeing as she has been out of the conversation for a while now. 

   "so what now?" She asked, voicing our thoughts for us. 

    "Let's uhm... Get some rest... Aries will come back soon for some rest of his own.. In the meantime.. Let's all clear our heads and get some sleep, yeah? It's been a long day.. I think we all need a minute." I suggested, praying that it would be good enough to settle the day into night and bring a less tense air to the home. One by one everybody left the room, agreeing with me and bidding everyone a goodnight. The only ones left now was Leo and myself.

    "You should go to bed Leo.." I spoke, lowering my voice to softer tone to be a bit more cautious with the cat-like boy. He seemed to have been listening, his right ear twitching att he sudden noise and I placed my palm on his back. 

    "Go sleep. He'll be back on the morning, ready to eat yummy pancakes with everybody." I mumbled, trying my best to make things better and in response, he nodded. I'd take it though. At least he listened, which was more than I could hope for.

No ones Pov

   Aries came back the next morning, seeming much calmer than he had been the previous night. 

   Things went smoothly through the next week as the Zodiacs kinda fit into their own schedule and found a normal pace for themselves. Everybody thought it was normal. Except.. Leo hasn't left his room. Not once has he been seen that week. And a certain two signs were getting a bit concerned.

  Libra made the first move.

He creaked the door open, finding trays of food from the last week lying around, untouched. The wonderful cinnamon scent of the room had been replaced with a bitter scent of what seemed to be dark chocolate. The scent was so strong that you could practically imagine the taste. In his bed lies the little lion zodiac. He was fast asleep, bundled up and clutching onto his pillows as if they were keeping him safe. Libra had almost decided to leave until he heard the faint "stop" come from his newest friend, or so he'd like to call him. 

   Creeping his way to the lion's bed, the words became much clearer to him. Cries and pleads for forgiveness came from the lion, tears staining the pillow underneath his head. The poor little lion reached out for anything to comfort him, not expecting to get another life form in response to his pleads. 

  His eyes widened in fear and shock as the weight on the bed shifted and he was suddenly hugged by the shorter male whom harbored a sweeter smell that lifted the bitter dark chocolate into a fluffy hot cocoa scent. It didn't seem to matter much though.. At the moment, Leo felt happy and warm despite the feeling in his heart that things weren't yet well. However he decided to dismiss the feeling, simply losing  himself in the warmth of another being that was willing to hold him close. Completely unaware of the soothing apple cider scent which had turned rotton after witnessing the scene of the two men supposedly 'cuddling' in the lion's bed. 

  But the Lion was content.

Atleast... He thought he was...

Dmhddhjfebhbfjvdbvhjdfvbjhfdbjvhndjhnviudrnviuernviueriucj boom! I'm on such a roll, the drama is about to start piling up. >;)
