Chapter 2

Leo P.o.v

  I shook Libra's hand and looked around once more. "Im.. Gonna unpack. You can go back to chat with the others."I said quietly. "We have known eachother our entire lives. Your the new person we are curious about. We want to know everything about you Leo." Libra said. I turned gibing him a faint fake smile I had mastered. "Maybe later over dinner... Sound good?" I said. He smiled nodding as he skipped out of the room happily. I closed the door locking it and letting out a long sigh. An old wardrobe layed in the corner of the room with a hoodie in it that had Lion ears on the hood. I slipped it on over my head and threw the empty suitcase in it shoving the first aid kit into a drawer in my desk. I unlocked the door and flopped down on my bed staring at the ceiling. I thought over every possible question they could ask me and came up with a fake backstory for myself. After a while, I dozed off rolling into a ball as my tail wrapped around my body and my ears layed flat against my head. My fangs slightly pinched my lips from a sleeping habit I have.

Leo P.o.v

  Somebody stepped into my room making the tiniest creaking sound on the floor that no human would hear and I jumped up ready to defend myself as I grabbed a pillow. "Chill bro." A boy with two different colored eyes said. He had a demon tail and two tattoos on his shoulders. One had a smiley face and the other had a frowney face. I observed him carefully. "Im Gemini. Dinner is ready Leo." He said salluting to me before stepping out of the room. "What the hell happened to make you so jumpy. ..."he muttered to himself under his breath. I looked down at my messy sheets calming myself before creeping down the stairs to the dinner table where I had a spot inbetween Cancer and Virgo. "So Leo? What did you do as a kid??" Scorpio asked. "Eh.. I was pretty normal. I had a small group of friends and got a good education." I replied quietly. "Isnt a Leo supposed to want alot of attention?" Pisces asked. I shrugged. "I never was much of an attention hogger." I said munching down on my spaghetti. "Oh. Where did you live?" Cancer asked. "Oh uhm I lived in Chicago." I said. They all nodded understanding me. "Well... Do you miss your parents?" They asked. I stopped eating and slowly nodded before giving them a weak fake smile. "I miss them a bunch." I said. They all looked a little less excited seeing my face and stopped asking questions we ate in silence and I was last left. "I will clean up." I said. They disagreed and I ended up only sweeping the floor. Everyone was in the livingroom while I swept socializing. "Whats with the scars?" Aries asked in a more demanding tone than earlier. "I got into a lot of street fights." I said. It wasnt all fake. When I snuck out of the house, gangs liked to start fights with me so I got pretty skilled in fighting. "Why didnt your parents do anything."  He said. "I never told them." I explained. "I have to use the restroom." I said finishing up cleaning and stepping past Aries towards the bathroom. "Bu-" I cut him off. "No more questions." I said. He looked at me frustrated letting me go. Running to the bathroom I slid down the door and sat on the tile floor knotting my fingers into my hair.
"That.... Was rough..." I whispered to myself. I sat searching for ways to cover this up. I need to loosen up with them and they absolutely cant see my bandages.. Somebody knocked making the door vibrate on my back."W-Who is it?" I stuttered out. "It's Taurus! We were all gonna go to a cafe to meet the guy that we bought the house from!" She said. I slightly sighed before answering. "Ok I will be out in a moment." I said. I heard her light footsteps fade away and I got up looking in the mirror. I ruffled my hair with my fingers into a messy way that felt comfortable befor pulling my hood up as my ears lowered onto my head muffling some if the sounds I heard. I flushed the empty toilet and washed my hands with the orange scented soap, swiftly drying my hands on the towl that layed on the rack of towls in the bathroom. The one I held was a light shade of orange with my name on it. Apearently it was Zodiac 'Merchandise'. I would think nobody liked me after being in Chigaco for so long. Hopefully I wont get much attention.
