Bailey had to get to the tower, and fast. Something was up with Avengers and she needed to help them, but Ned's pestering wasn't helping. God, she wished she could just run there, but she knew people were following them and had to be careful.

"So if I got struck by lightning, I would get super speed?" Bailey pulled her hood up before she went onto the crowded street. Peter copied her actions, but when Ned didn't she used her speed to put his on.

"No Ned, you wouldn't get super speed." She sees the Tower in the distance. "Then how'd you get your powers?" Bailey glances at Peter and sighs. "Yes the lightning gave me my powers. But right before that a particle accelerator exploded releasing dark matter into the city. Add to the fact a lot of chemicals were put into my system after I was struck... that's how."

Bailey glances behind them. People dressed in black were not too far behind, they hadn't spotted them yet, but they will if they don't hurry. Bailey growls. "Screw this." She drags Peter and Ned into an alley. "Brace yourselves." They stare in awe as Bailey's eyes crackle with electricity.

She grabs them and runs them into the tower, stopping in a stairwell. Peter looks dizzy and Ned vomits. "FRIDAY, initiate evacuation, and lockdown. Everyone out and no one in." Alarms blare telling Bailey her command was answered. "Sorry about this FRIDAY but, initiate protocol 13:20."

Peter watches confused as to why the AI listened to her. "Are you sure Bailey? There is no going back." Bailey nods and closes her eyes for a moment. "Yes. Do it." Bailey sighs. "I shut FRIDAY down, we're on our own now."

She looks to Ned and Peter. "You good? We need to get to my lab and find out what happened." They nod and she runs them to her lab. They take a moment to collect themselves while Bailey walks over to the holo-computer. She hacks into the security footage from the common room and they all watch.

The Avengers are all on the ground, restrained. Bailey wants to cry seeing her father beaten, and bleeding. A man completely dressed in black walks up to Natasha and shoots her with some sort of injection. She falls to the ground unconscious. The man then moves onto Clint, Sam, Steve, Scott, Wanda, and then he walks up to a severely pissed Tony.

He punches him, making him spit blood then injects him in the neck. The feed cuts into static. Ned and Peter look too Bailey. They can see the sadness in her eyes but don't say anything. Then Bailey rewinds the video to right before the video cuts out and zooms in. There, on the ground next to Tony is a vial. She smiles.

"Finally something!" She grabs her two friends and runs into the common room. She gets down on the floor looking for the vial. Peter and Ned share a look. They have NO idea what she is doing. By the coffee table Bailey shouts out. "Ah Ha! Got it!" She stands and grabs Peter and Ned, once again running them to the lab.

She goes into work mode, mumbling to herself. She looks in the small vial and they all see a single drop in it. Bailey smiles. "Peter in that drawer to your left, there are microscope slides. I need one." Peter goes into the drawer and hands a slide too Bailey. She sets it up and looks into the microscope. "Huh..." Peter and Ned look at the screen, showing what Bailey was seeing.

"What is that?" Bailey smirks. She's missed CSI work. "That is Sodium Pentothal, also known as truth serum." She glances at the screen confused. "That's odd." She looks into the microscope. "What's odd?" Bailey shakes her head. "There's something different about it." She points to the screen. "There. You see that?" Peter and Ned shake their heads.

Bailey sighs. "That is not part of the normal structure of Sodium Pentothal." She stares at it and narrows her eyes. "If I'm not wrong.. and I hope I am. Then that is the opposer of dopamine." They look at her confused, and she sighs exasperated. "Dopamine is a chemical in the frontal lobe. She points to her forehead. "It helps with decision making and without it, we can't make our own decisions." She looks at the security footage sadly.
