The ballroom dripped elegance and class. The colors were rose gold and champagne, with a hint of white every now and then. The ceremony was set up for around 500 hundred people. There was a dress code that everyone showed up in a champagne-colored dress. I was currently in the dressing room, all of us getting our hair and makeup done. I was silent and didn't make many conversations with anyone. I knew they were all still mad at me about leaving but they had mates and didn't understand life without one. Nor would I ever want them too. "Did you pack your clothes already?" Taylor asked me, not even looking at me. "Yeah, I finished packing up last night. I have my flight at 4, so right after the ceremony I am leaving." I sighed and turned so the lady could finish doing my hair. "You're not going to say goodbye to your family?" Okay, she is really pissing me off. " I don't have a family. You have a family. I don't, not here. I have gone over this with you already. I know that you don't like the idea of me leaving but this isn't about you."

She was quiet and leaned back into the chair. "I'm so sorry Bell, you're right. I shouldn't be acting this way. I just want today to be a good day, our last day together for a while. Just promise me you'll be my maid of honor?" We both laughed and I grabbed her hand and gave her a soft squeeze. "Of course, and I'll bring a date next time." I smiled at her and leaned back into the chair. "I can't wait to see you in the wedding dress you bought. You're going to be beautiful." I just hope someday I get the chance to wear it. "Amber is coming out with her dress!" We all turned and I had to admit she looked beautiful. She was wearing a huge princess ballgown. It was covered in lace and bling, and it was beautiful. Her makeup was elegant and her hair was up in a tight bun. "Oh wow, Amber you are so beautiful! If you're not pregnant already, you will be!" Her mom yelled and pulled her to her. "Yes, you are the most beautiful bride." My mom grabbed her and when she said that I couldn't help but feel somewhat jealous. I wish she would say that to me, but I know my father would never allow it. "I'm going to use the bathroom," I told Taylor. I grabbed my purse and walked out of the room and down the hallway.

I was walking through the many hallways and I stumbled upon one the hallways that I assume had the groomsmen in it. I hide behind the wall when I heard the door open and out walked Vincent and my father. "What the hell is wrong with you?" My dad whispered yelled at Vincent. "I don't want to marry Amber. I can't keep pretending." Vincent said back. "I don't give two shits about what you want boy! This isn't about you. This is about my legacy." I could hear the grit and anger in his voice. "What happened in your life that made you so angry? What happened to the caring father to this piece of shit? What happened to you wanting nothing but your children's happiness?" Vincent sighed and my father smashed his hands into the wall. "You have no idea what you're talking about boy!" I heard flesh hitting flesh and I could only assume my father hit Vincent. "I'm sorry your life is so miserable. But I love Bellamy, and I always will. Now, I will walk out there pretend to be happy with Amber but that's only because of mom. Do you understand?! I hope you know Amber is just as miserable. She hides it way better than I do. The difference is, she never met her mate but she can smell him, and feel his longing for her. And now she'll never know what actual love feels like."

"So you can hit me and hate me all you want. But it won't ever change how I feel about her. Now, if I see mom with one more bruise on her body, even the smallest scratch...I will kill you." There was silence between them and then I heard the door open and slam close. I took a deep breath and I could smell that it was Vincent still standing outside. "Bell, you can come out now." I jumped when he said that, I slowly peeked around the corner and saw him standing there. He was wearing a black tuxedo. The button-up had three open buttons and his tie was hanging around his neck. I saw his face and there was blood and I ran over to him. "You're bleeding. Where is the bathroom?" He grabbed my hand and I followed him to a whole other section of the castle, away from everyone else. I closed the door and locked it. I sat him down in the toilet seat and started looking through the cabinets to find a first aid kit, which I did. I got some rubbing alcohol and put it on a washcloth and walked back to VIncent. "This might sting," I said softly.
