That day was probably the most I talked with my classmates. It was great. It made me crave friendship even more than I already do.

Today was Wednesday. It was currently our vacant time. Nandito kaming lahat sa classroom dahil nag-aya silang manood ng pelikula. I think they decided to watch Harry Potter, the first movie.

A few days ago, Arion also introduced me to his friends. Lahat naman sila ay mababait. They all tried their best to talk to me, but I was still a bit nervous around them.

Katabi ko sila ngayon dahil nakaupo kami sa sahig. Paminsan-minsan ay tinatanong nila ako, at sinasagot ko naman sila ng kaunti.

"Gusto mo ng pagkain?" Bulong sakin ni Arion.

"Ha? Ah, yeah, sure." I answered absent-mindedly.

"Sige, bibilhan muna kita, wait lang." He said.

"Sasama na ako." Sabi ko

"Hoy Arion, ba't kami wala?" Sabi ni
Isaiah, he was one of Arion's friends, meron din siyang kakambal, his twin's name was Isaac.

"Oo nga, ang daya naman!"

"Bilhan mo din kami, o ibubuking ka namin!"

Napabuntong-hininga na lang si Arion. He was annoyed but had an obviously fake smile on his face.

"What do you guys want? I'll go buy it for you." I said.

"Buti pa si Shaliah, mabait, di tulad mo! Sana di ka niya i-crushback."

"Ang bait naman, pa'no mo natagalan 'yang demonyong yan, Ashanti?"

Hindi ko maintindihan ang mga sinasabi nila dahil sabay-sabay silang nagsasalita.

They only stopped talking when Isaiah asked them to shut up.

"Ano na? What do you want?" Isaiah said.

They discussed for a moment and faced us.

"Cheetos na lang, yung malaki dapat, sa'ka Sprite, yung nasa can. Tandaan mo Arion, ha? Or else.." Mireille said while smirking, she was Arion's cousin.

Arion rolled his eyes at them and raised his middle finger.

"I swear, you guys will pay for this, literally and metaphorically." Sabi niya.

"Ah, katakot naman. Boohoo, Mom come pick me up I'm scared." Mireille said, pretending to look scared.

"Tara na, Sha, para pagdating natin magsimula na yung movie." Sabi niya. Sine-set-up pa nung mga kaklase namin ang projector at laptop sa harap kaya hindi pa nagsisimula.

I nodded and went along with him. We talked a bit until we arrived in the mini mart inside the school.

I went towards the fridge and grabbed
six cans of Sprite. Arion was grabbing 3 party sized Cheetos.

"Ano nga pala yung sayo?" He asked me.

"Kettle Korn na lang."

"What flavor?"

"The plain one."

He grabbed the bag from the shelf.

"I'll pay for it." I said.

"Hindi, ako na."

"Pero, I told them I would buy their snacks." I reasoned.

"Fine, pota ang cute talaga, shet." I heard him say it was fine, but didn't hear the rest 'cause he walked away.

We carried the snacks to the counter and I paid for it. Luckily, Papa gave me extra money for spending.

The cashier gave us plastic bags and we carried them back to the classroom.
