CONGRATULATIONS

(Alia)

~Chanel's POV~
FINALLY! THE LAST MF DAY OF SCHOOL. I'm so ready to get today over with and my sis is graduating too so I really can't wait.

De just texted me and told me he was here. As I'm walking downstairs, I see Alia coming out of her room. She's in a white turtleneck dress with a black jeans jacket. She looks really cute.

"Hey sis," I say to her. "Hey," she says and walks down the stairs behind me.

"I thought you were wearing white to your graduation," I say. "I am. I'm gonna wear my long white dress," she says as we get downstairs.

"Later Ma," I say to my mom as I walk out of the door.

"Later baby, later Lia," she says to Alia and I.

"I'll see you later sis," Alia says as she gets into Alex's car.

"Okay. Tell Alex I said hi," I reply and get into De's car.

"Good morning love," I say and he replies, "Good morning baby." I kiss him and then he pulls off.

BRINGGGGGGGGGG

"SCHOOL IS OUT MFS," somebody yells as we file out of the school. Today was a chill and fun day. I'm happy junior year is over and I honestly can't wait for senior year.

"Imma see you later," De says as I get out the car. "Okay bae." Yes, him and his mom are going to Alia's graduation with us.

"Hey boo," I answer my phone.

"Girl, tell me why my brother don't even have anything to wear and the graduation is in like 2 hours," Jasmine vents.

I laugh, "Tell him to find something simple but classy in his closet cause he's putting a gown over it anyway." We talk for about another hour and then we get off the phone to start getting ready. I get in the shower and when I'm done I throw on some shorts and a tank top. I go to Alia's room.

"Girl, we got like 30 minutes to get ready and leave what you doing?," she says and I smile. "Just wanted to see my sis before she becomes a graduate," I say.

She pats the spot next to her on her vanity bench and I sit. I start doing my makeup as she puts music on. "I'M SO SICK OF LOVE SONGS, SO TIRED OR TEARS," we sing.

"Who got y'all in y'all feelings? ," my mom asks as she walks into Alia's room. I laugh and get up, "Well it's time for me to get dressed." I leave Alia's room.

~Alia's POV~
I turn my music down. Aunt Chelle sits where Chanel was just sitting. "How you doing love?," she asks and I instantly know what she's talking about. I really don't like talking about my father because it makes me very emotional.

"Aunt Chelle I really don't wanna ruin my makeup," I say sniffling. She hugs me, "Alia Shayenne Robins, he would be so so proud of you and I know it. He'll be there in spirit, love," she reassures me which makes me even more emotional.

I hug her back, "Thank you for being such a good mother figure to me, Ma," I say and I hear her gasp. I pull away from her embrace and see her smiling.

"Tryna get me all emotional now," she says and stands up. "Alright, finish up getting ready baby," she says and walks out of my room. "This is for you dad," I whisper, looking up.

"ALRIGHT, WE NEEDA GO," Ma yells. "We're already 20 minutes late and you know traffic is going to be crazy tonight."

I'm finally ready and I walk over to Chanel's room. "Damn girl you look good," I say and she laughs. "Oh hey DeVonte," I say and he waves to me from her bed. I walk over to the mirror that she's standing in and we look at ourselves.
