Lavinia’s P.O.V.

Nagising akong magisa lamang sa kama kinabukasan. Tinawagan ako ni Annette kagabi upang sabihin na may natagpuan itong isang larawan na sa palagay niya ay makakatulong sa ginagawa kong pagiimbestiga. Tumayo ako mula sa kama at sinimulang magayos. Greyson’s pack is not that far from this Pyro’s pack so I guess I can just walk my way through there.

Naabutan ko si Pyro na nagluluto pa lang ng almusal. He is wearing his simple white T-shirt and denim pants. I walk towards him to give him a kiss on the lips. “Ang aga yata ng gising mo ngayon?” Puna nito. Agad na pumalibot sa bewang ko ang braso nito, pulling me close to him.

“Yup, need to meet up with Annette today so I’ll be having my breakfast in Greyson’s pack.” Wika ko rito. Sumimangot ito sa sinabi ko at hindi ko maiwasan ang mapangiti sa reaksyon nito.

“But I cook french today.” Nakangusong reklamo nito.

“C’mon hon, Annette rarely invite me so I can’t miss it. No worries, I’ll be back before you know it.” Pagaassure ko rito bago kumawala sa pagkakayakap nito. “Anyway, where’s Greyson?” Tanong ko rito.

“He needs to go back to his pack early in the morning, there’s been a weird sighting of rogues in the border of his pack.” Wika nito na nagpakunot sa noo ko.

“Rogues?”

“Yup, they are wolves who don’t belong to a pack. They are feral and to be avoided. It’s very rare for them to appear in here since there are three alphas that’s located in one town.” Paliwanag nito.

Sa hindi malamang dahilan ay nakakaramdam ako ng kaba sa sinabi nito. Why do I have this feeling that they started to appear because of me? Tyne is a town full of werewolves, there’s literally no humans in here aside from me and Rylan. I guess if a rogue entered this town it will be very noticeable.

“Well, is there any update from him?” Though I know that Greyson is strong enough to protect himself, I still want to make sure that he is safe from any kind of danger.

“Yup, he is good. He is making sure that all borders has enough patrols to ensure the safety of his packs.” Paliwanag nito saka sinimulang ibalik ang atensyon sa niluluto niya. “I’ll send three warriors to accompany you.”

“Is that really necessary?” Hindi mapigilang tanong ko rito. It’s not that I don’t want someone to guard me but I kinda want to walk alone today.

“With the threat of rogues last night, we cannot take our chances.” He explained as he turn off the stove and remove his apron. “I can accompany you if you want.” He offered.

“No need, I’ll bring three warriors with me. My initial plan is to walk but since you mentioned that. I guess it is safer for me to used a car instead.” Wika ko saka humakbang palabas ng kusina. Pyro is tailing me from behind.

“I see, I’ll send Grant with you. Take care okay?” Wika nito saka ako dinampian ng halik sa gilid ng labi.

His small gesture stop me from walking and I turn to him with a smile in my lips. Pyro seems not to notice my reaction to him. Sometimes, I can’t believe how could someone so sweet and handsome as him can be mine. I wonder what did I ever do in this life for me to deserve their love. I think I should consider myself as a lucky bitch.

Few minutes later, I am already in Greyson’s pack house. Annette prepared a simple breakfast for us to eat. Hindi pa rin dumarating si Greyson at ayon kay Annette ay abala pa din ito sa pagsesecure ng kaligtasan ng buong pack. Rogues sighting is a serious threat to the pack’s safety. Especially na malapit na ang Luna Ceremony. I think the reason why rogues are showing up because I am a human and they are seeing it as a weakness.
