Greyson's P.O.V.

Kuyom ang kamao ko habang hinihintay ang paglabas ni Lavinia mula sa opisina ni Pyro. There's a part of me who wanted to destroy that fucking door but I know that will be very unreasonable even for an alpha like me. Looking back in the past few days before the storm landed, I can't barely remember how did we even get here. Everything is going on the right direction until the day that our luna discover a grim secret from the past.

We should be preparing now for the event tonight and our mate being pampered as a preparation for her Luna ceremony but here we are, worrying of what could be happening inside Pyro's office.

I am honestly praying to the moongoddess that whatever it is, I hope that it is not something that can destroy our barely establish relationship.

It seems like it was almost forever before the door finally open. Naunang lumabas ang elder na bahagyang yumuko upang magbigay galang sa amin. Pyro immediately walk towards Lavinia and pull her in a hug. Seeking for a sense of comfort.

Sa hindi malamang dahilan ay nakakaramdam ako ng kakaibang kaba at alam kung ganoon din ang nararamdaman ni Pyro. We should feel excited about the ceremony tonight but for fuck sake my intuition is giving me a warning sign. Even my wolf is phasing in my head like crazy. Though Pyro might not say it, I am pretty sure he is feeling the same thing. I know he is as scared as I am for our mate.

"Alpha Pyro, Alpha Greyson. As much as I want to stay here to witness the ceremony tonight, I will be needing back in the council. I will leave as soon as possible. I have already provided all of the information I have to your Luna." Wika nito na nagpatiim ng mata ko rito.

His purpose of coming over is to convince us not to proceed with the ceremony. Why on earth suddenly after speaking to Lavinia he is going to leave without even giving us any information on what have talk about inside the office? Did he change his mind after speaking with my mate? Or is he confident enough that Lavinia is not going to proceed with the ceremony after their talk?

"What did you tell her?" I asked. Using my alpha tone to intimidate him with the aim to get information.

The elder turn to look at our Luna before turning his eyes back to me and speak calmly. "Alpha Greyson, my only purpose of coming here is to talk to your mate. It will now depend on her if she will share those information to her Alphas or if she will keep it to herself." Wala akong magawa kundi ang mahigpit na ikuyom ang kamao sa pagngingitngit. I take a deep breath to calm myself before turning my eyes to my mate who is inside my brother's arms. She turn to look at me and I can feel her tense up. Sinenyasan ko si Pyro na ipasok ito sa loob ng opisina. We need to settle this shit once and for all. All I want it for all of this shit to be over and live happily ever after with my mate. Is that really too much to ask?

"What did he tell you?" Agad kong tanong ng maisara ang pinto.

Lavinia's eyes focus on me. I can sense fear coming off from her. Tumiim ang tingin ko rito. I am going to make sure that we are not leaving this office without her giving us the full information the elder have provided to her. This is something that I and Pyro cannot simply shrug off. The reason why that man visited our pack is too stop the Luna ceremony from happening. If he is confident enough to leave us alone after talking to Lavinia that only means one thing. It means that they are confident that after giving Lavinia the information, she herself will not going to proceed with the ceremony.

"Well, he gave me the information about how those two sun temples that contains some kind of artifact that can control the time and I told him about one of the artifacts being stolen so he needs to get back to the council to make a report on that. But yeah, he said that it is the main reason why the two packs needs to remain separated. I don't get the part why on earth they haven't destroyed that artifact yet." I can't help but raise my eyebrow at her answer.
