Chapter 4 - Games

After my last lesson, I followed Sam to his car. We got in and he drove off.

"Are you going to Flynn's party tonight?" Sam asked.

"Um, I guess so. What's his address? Could you text me it?" I asked.

"Yeah I'll text you it. By the way the party starts at 7 and finishes at 12."

"I'll be there."I said. When Sam pulled up outside my house, I got out and went inside. I had to figure out what to wear tonight.

BEEP BEEP

My phone went off. it had a text message saying Flynn's address is 16 Win Lane. So Flynn lives in one of the mansions. Nice.

I walk to my wardrobe and open the doors. I search through and pick out 2 dresses I really like. I lay them down on the bed and find heels to match each one. Now I just have to try them on and see which one is better.

I pull the black dress over my head. It has a low neckline and it's a short dress. There's diamonds down each side of the dress and the sleeves are elbow length. I pull on my silver heels with it. They cost so much. I think this look is nice so I take it off and try the other one on.

I pull the red dress over my head. It has no straps and it is knee-length. It is a plain red dress and my black heels go well with it. Although I prefer the black dress.

Once changed back into my black dress. I take a seat and curl my hair into ringlets. Then I brush it out and make it look like beach waves. I grab my eye liner and outline my eyes. Then I get my Benefit mascara and put some on, the top and bottom. Then I grab my false lashes and put them on. Perfect. I put some silver studded hoops on, pull on my heels and grab my Jimmy Choo envelope clutch. Ready.

*7pm*

I arrive at the party with Sam and enter the front door. The drinks are towards the left and the dancing is to the right. The massive 3D TV is on the wall and the L-shaped couch is pushed up against the wall, leaving room for the people dancing. The banister is gold and the staircase is marble. This house is gorgeous.

I make my way through the drunk and dancing people to Lenni. Lenni is a popular but has always been my best friend since we were little. It was shocking to know the populars hadn't even noticed me, from being Lenni's "sidekick" and all. It was nice to see her here.

"Lenni! You look gorgeous!" I said. She's wearing a light blue tight skirt which goes down to her thighs. She's wearing a white tank top and black heels.

"Says you!" She said. We both started to dance as our favourite song came on. We all sang along. Everyone was having a great time dancing and singing. I suddenly felt a hand on my wrist that spun my around. Flynn.

"Flynn." I said.

"You look stunning." He said. And then he walked off. Lenni asked me what that was about and when I told her she started to freak out.

"Alexis! This is amazing! Flynn totally checked you out." She squealed.

"Shut your mouth Lenni!" I said, indicating that people could hear me. She apologised and we continued to dance.

It was around 11:30pm when people started to leave. The only people who were left were Lenni, Flynn, Sam, Luke, Sephy and I. And of course, every party has to have a game of spin the bottle, right?

It was Luke's turn to spin the bottle, it landed o Lenni.

"Okay Lenni, truth or dare?" Luke asked. I looked at Lenni and she gave me a smile and a quick wink before turning round to Luke and selecting dare.

"Hmmm, I dare you to kiss the best looking guy in this room," Luke smirked. My eyes widened as i realised Lenni has had a massive crush on Luke since she was 14. She was now 16 and that crush still hadn't vanished.

Lenni got up and walked around towards Luke before quickly leaning down and kissing him. A quick peck, that was all it was. Luke smiled at her as she sat down and pushed her to spin the bottle.

"Okay Flynn, truth or dare?" Lenni asked. Flynn looked round the room until his eyes stopped on me.

"Dare." He said while still maintaining eye contact.

I felt Lenni look at me and thoughts were running through her head. Good thing i'm not a mind reader.

"I dare you to kiss the prettiest girl in this room," Lenni said.

"Way to steal an idea, Lenni." Luke said as he rolled his eyes. Lenni gave him a quick slap on the head and Luke winced.

Before i knew it, Flynn was kissing me. His hands were on my waist as my hands went round his neck loosely. He pulled away and sat back down, looking quite pleased with himself. The game continued.
