Act 5: Sing Your Heart Out

A song was tried throughout the halls of Shiba Koen Junior High, it was the voice of a true angel, but who could it be coming from? A voice was heard in the girls bathroom, and it's a very familiar one.
Sparkle and shine like the star you are.
The voice gets louder and louder as it stops, exiting the stall.

The singing had come from Chieko the whole time, which is really surprising since shr doesn't exactly sing in public. The brunette exited the bathroom and went up to her friends, Tethys, Midori and Kaori. "Was that you singing?" Midori asked. "Oh no, that wasn't me at all, it was probably someone else," the teen girl lied. "Aw, I thought it was you, it sounded like you," her friend from another class pointed out. The brunetge ran to her locker in a hurry, but accidentally ran into it, hurting herself and falling over. She got back up, grabbed her stuff and headed out the door without being spotted by her friends.
In speaking of which, the three were chatting about their friend's weird behavior. "Chieko has been acting weird, yesterday she told me about son e weird dream and today it's this," the redhead explained. "I know, very odd, it's like she's hiding something from us," Tethys replied. "I think it must be stress, she must be stressed out by something," Kaori said to the others. "I completely agree with you Kairi," Midori replied. "Wait, did you just call me Kairi?" The pigtailed girl asked. "Oh, sorry," the pink bow wearing girl said.
Back at home, Chieko was singing again, but it was a different song, Moonlight Legend.
Gomen ne sunao janakute
Yume no naka nara ieru
Shikou kairo wa shooto sunzen
Ima sugu aitai yo
"Miracle romance is amazing, too bad I can't perform it, it's hard singing in public," Chieko thought to herself. Selena came out of her backpack and pulled a piece of paper  with Japanese text on it out of there. "Is this what you were singing Chieko?" The cat asked. "Yeah, but I can't sing, I know the song, but I can't sing in public," the teen replied. "Why?" The fawn cat said. "Ever since my first grade spring concert..."
Chieko, age 7, was dress as a sunflower and was about to sing her solo.

She stopped sing in and remained still, scared over all the people watching and filming. The little girl ran off to her teacher in fear.

In the present, Chieko was traumatized by the experience, causing her to never sing in public. "I understand Chieko, most people have fears, I'm afraid of water," Selena explained. "Oh, I understand Selena, but I can't sing in front of everyone at my school, I'm scared," the teen hid under her covers and never wanted to get out.
Really late at night, a monster was spreading mist that spread into Chieko's dreams. The girl was dreaming of being onstage in her school's auditorium. "Uh, hi, I'm-Ch-ch-chieko A-a-akiyama," she stuttered. The crowd turned into people Chieko knew, her relatives, her friends, and her teachers. "Uh, I'm gonna sing Moonlight Legend..." they looked and her with angry red eyes. A monster with black skin with white stars for eyes, navy blue hair, and white footy pajamas with yellow stars on them. "You have insecurities and you need to vent  it out, with violence!!!!!!" The monster hit her with the mist, making her glow a navy blue color. The glow made her lose her energy and made her angrier. Chieko woke up in an angry mood the next day and headed to the auditorium to talk to her teacher,  Mr. Beppu. "Oh hello Miss Akiyama, are you ready for tomorrow night?" He asked. "No Mr. B!!! I don't want to!!!! Singing songs in Japanese is for anime nerds or people obsessed with cute girls!!!!!" His student shouted, breaking stuff and saying things that are not true. She left in a huff and headed to her friends waiting for her in the main hall. "Hey guys!!!" She said. "Looks like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed," Tethys remarked. The brunette pushed her friend into the wall, harming him. "Ow!!! Jeez Chieko it's just a common human expression!!!!" He screamed in pain. The other two backed away and ran out of the school. Chieko felt both angry and weak at the same time as she headed home feeling exhausted.
She went home and laid face down in her bed with Selena by her side. "Chieko, you don't seem ok, are you?" She asked. "No, I don't know why, but I did have a weird dream last night," the girl explained. Selena cane up to Chieko and the crescent moon on forehead brought her energy back. "Thanks a lot Selena, I need to find that monster I saw in my dream, Phobos Lunar Power, Make Up!!!!!"
After transforming, Chieko went onto the rooftops of houses in her neighbourhood, finding the monster from before. "You are insecure about your fear, and that's what makes you tick," the monster spread more mist, but in her Guardian form, she wasn't affected. "Alright that's it!!! Phobos, Magnet, Bolt!!!!!" She attacked with her bolt, but the monster disappeared. "What's going on?" She asked. "It's all in your mind Sailor Phobos!!!! She's messing with you!!!" Selena said, bring Sailor Dione with her. "You can do It! Take this!!!" Sailor Dione gave her a silver wand with multiple hearts colliding to make one. "Huh?" Sailor Phobos asked. "It's the Wand of Purit, use it to snap out of your trance, Say Purity Heart Wave," Selena told her. "Ok, Purity, Heart, Wave!!!!" Sailor Phobos waved the Wand of Purity and changed everything around her. "Aw, I didn't even say my catchphrase," the Sailor Guardian moaned. Chieko transformed back and went to bed.
The next day, Chieko went into the auditorium. "Miss Akiyama?" Mr. Beppu said. "Mr. B, I'm sorry for how I acted yesterday, I'm just scared to perform tonight, so I won't be performing, I'll do it when I'm ready," the brunette replied "Well thanks Miss Akiyama, I'll find someone else who can replace you," he hugged her. Chieko smiled happily, knowing everything was right.
