"You're a mistake, it should have been you who died!" His bloody figure stood over me with a knife. I stood frozen as he plunged the knife into my leg.

I gasped jumping up. My breath was heavy, my body covered in sweat, instead of being instantly comforted from my mom after a nightmare I awoke to the sound of my mother's screaming.

"Alissa Marie Calloway it is 3 o'clock in the afternoon your teacher will be here in one hour. Get up and make yourself look presentable!" She screams before walking out of my room and slamming the door closed. I sat up slowly and checked my phone to see 3 texted from an unknown number.

I need your address

Alissa are you still asleep?

Nevermind I called the school, I called your mom I'll be there at 4.

Deciding on a simple okay in response I headed to my bathroom to take a quick shower. Once I got out I threw on some grey leggings, a white AC/DC crop top, and a pair of white Adidas. The doorbell rang throughout the house and I walked downstairs as I saw my mother opening the door for Mr. Griffin.

"Welcome to our home, Alissa was just getting dressed. She slept in my poor girl, must have been so tired." My mother said in her fake polite act she always puts on when we have guests.

"Thank you for having me, Alissa is a smart girl she just seems to be struggling. I hope this will help her get a grip on math." He says and my mother nods as I step down the stairs.

"Good afternoon sir," I said and he looks at me and then my other before holding up his book, "Shall we?" He asks and I smile.

"Yeah the living rooms this way," I said walking toward our lining room where my stuff was already set out.

"Alright we'll start with calculus," He says, pulling out his work. I didn't realize he has a tiny freckle above his left eye. I just wanted to run my hands through his hair, Focus Alissa where are these thoughts coming from? "Do you understand?" He asks and I snap my eyes to him.

"I'm sorry sir, my mind wandered off. Can you repeat that?" I asked him and he sucked in air.

"Alissa if you're not serious about getting better at math I can't help you," he says in disappointment and I find myself sad at the fact that I disappointed him.

"I am, I swear I just got distracted."

"What pray tell had you so sidetracked?" He asked curiously.

"You're really hot." I blurted out and his eyes widened in shock as I slapped my hand over my mouth. What is it with me today? "I'm so sorry sir I haven't the slightest clue what has gotten into me, I'm so very sorry." I apologized profusely.

"Honestly Alissa it's okay no worries lets just get back to studying." He says shaking his head before continuing his teaching and this time I only focused on the words he was saying.

2 hours later

We were finally finished studying when my mother walked in. "Would you like to stay for dinner, Mr. Griffin?"

"Please call me Blake and that would be great thank you." He says to my mother.

"Very well, My husband and Ashton should be here in an hour, Alissa how about you show Blake around." She says to me and I nod my head.

"Right this way," I said, taking him to the kitchen, living room, movie room, all the bathrooms and guest rooms, the gym, my parent's room, and my brother's room. "And this is my room which would conclude the house tour," I said as we walked into my room. He walked around looking at the drawings on my walls, "I drew those when I was 14." I say and he hums.
