So for this, I would like to emphasise on the female periods. I know many women/feminists quoting the saying "boys, can you bleed for 5 days without dying?" And I find this statement absolutely preposterous. There are way too many statements like this and I'll be clearing up a few in this chapter
Can you bleed for 5 days without dying
Now we need to understand that this is how women are built...women are built so they get period. It's not a man's fault that women get period. Now, this doesn't mean you dishonour women who are on their period. But I request women who do this to stop such awful behaviour. Women are built to get periods.
Can you keep a human in you for 9 months?
Again I find this statement absolutely absurd because again women are made to give birth. Women are made to go thru and endure the pain. No person in there right made would ever compare birth with men
Can you leave your parents after marriage?
Many of us do it way before marriage. And its nothing new even for men. Even men leave their parents for there education. It is nothing new. And leaving one's parents is absolutely a painful moment in one's life. But its a step for a better future in most cases
We women deal with daily sexist comments. Unlike men.
And this is why you stand up for yourself! It's not only women that go thru sexist comments even men do. But again know your limits when standing up for yourself. Some people take it to far and mess up and end up sounding arrogant.
Men should never hit a woman because men are stronger than women.
But the same women also say
Women are just as same as men and can do all things a man does and better
And to be honest you can never have a reasonable debate with a person that thinks like this
At the end of the day, it's not about bragging about how women go thru more pain or have to go thru more work them men but it's about just standing up for yourself and not using these ridiculous statements.
