So um this past days have been very... I can't even express how I feel rn. It's so sad that in 2020 we, black people, still have to fight for our rights, lives make our voices to be heard. I don't understand.
Is being black a punishment? Is it a sin? No, it isn't. Why does the color of my skin matter so much? Why do we get KILLED because of our skin color?
How many back people have to die, until this is over? How many tears do we have to shed, for them to see that we are hurt? How many times do we have to shout, for them to understand that we only want justice and equality? We get treated differently from white people. There are things that white people can do, but black people would/are get/getting killed for it.
Our grandparents had to go through something like this. Our parents had to go through something like this. We are going through this right now. But you know what we don't want? Our kids. I don't want them to go through something like this. And you know how we can prevent that from happening? If we fight and raise our voices. If we finally get justice and make a change. But we'll never be able to make a change if they don't make a change.
Being black is beautiful. You are beautiful and you deserve to live, just like I deserve to live and ever single black person out there. Enough is enough!
No justice, no peace!
Raise your hands and shout BLACK LIVES MATTER! ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
