nick? why was he here? he couldn't care, or be worried, he had that darianka chick to worry about. you looked away, pretended he wasn't there. the people in the room got tense, the sway boys and even avani and char were still mad about what nick did. he had a teddy bear and flowers in his hand, and he slowly and awkwardly made his way inside. "we're gonna go..." said avani as she pulled each and every person out of the room. he waited for everyone to leave before he said "oh my god jayla.... what the fuck happened?" he said, taking your arm and looking it up and down. "i ran away because i was heartbroken about the darianka situation.. and this guy did some really bad things... threw me across the room and drugged me and-" you started crying, but before tears could come down your face, he started to talk.
"i need to explain the stuff that happened between me and dari. we're just friends, and if you could look at the dates of the texts, they were all before i met you and we started dating. i haven't talked to her in weeks and weeks. it's only you, jayla. it always will be only you. i love you. nobody else." he said while wiping your tears. "really? do you mean it?" he layed down on the other side of the bed and snuggled you close. "i couldn't be more sure. you're the one for me." he kissed you on the forehead as you fell asleep.

@nickaustin- i wanted to share this before everyone found out from other sources that could twist what happened. jayla got in an accident. she's gaining strength every day, but she's going to have to stay in the hospital until she regains all of that strength so that we can go back to the normal, doing funny tiktok dances and stupid youtube challenges. i know she'll be okay, because she's the strongest girl i know. i just want all of you to pray for her because she deserves the best. jayla, if you're reading this, i love you so much and you're going to get better really soon because i'll be by your side the whole time baby bear. 🤍🧸🥰

"nick....?" you say looking at him, sleeping peacefully because he probably didn't sleep for days. "nicky, wake up!" you say but this time a little louder. "hm? what?" he said while looking around confused. "they have to scan my skull and my brain to make sure it you know.. isn't damaged." his face turned from a smile to a concerned look really quickly. "are you going to be okay?" he asked with a worried tone. "duh, i'll be fine." you say half joking-half nervous.
the doctor waltzed in, clipboard in one hand, wheeling a wheelchair in the other. "why a wheelchair doctor jones?" you asked, confused. "at this state, you haven't gotten up and walked in a long time. the drugs are still in your system, and who knows, they may or may not have caused permanent damage, either to your brain or blood cells and veins." you rolled your eyes. "i'll be fine without the wheelchair, thanks though!" you say, quite confidently. "jayz, i love you and all, but you should listen to the doc here. he knows what he's doing." nick chimes in. "oh nicky poo, are you a nurse like griffin now? i think i said i'm fine." you say annoyed. "okay miss sassy..." he helps you up. you stumble, but luckily he was holding you.
"sir, there can't be any people in the room with her during the scan. it's policy." you freaked out. small spaces were probably the worst of your fears, and you couldn't do it without him by your side. "but... nick...." you were flipping out. "jay, it's okay, i'll be outside waiting for you." the doctor pulled you away. "miss richards, you'll be okay." he assured you, but you still weren't on board. "nick, please!" he frowned. "jayla, i'm gonna be right here okay? i won't move." the doctor pulled you into the hallway as tears started forming in your eyes.
