The rain poured down, how lovely, Janus stared at the gates. Was it the same gate he had read? Should he go in? What if it was a different gate? And he was forever trapped inside? But what if he really did die? Janus stared at the trees that surrounded the gates.
"Jan...no...op..." Janus heard a voice, was Roman catching up on him? Janus ran into the gates. It closed as he went in, it was complete darkness. Then voices.. Voices?

"I'll catch you!" Janus roared, he smiled as the children ran in different ways, they were becoming smart, that was good.
"Bailey watch out!" In a flash of white he saw red. Scarlet red covered the door and car. It glistened through the moonlight. How tragic. Tears swelled up inside him, begging for release yet he didn't, why had Janus had to deal with such pain and agony.

Janus cried.
"Why didn't you save me daddy?" Bailey spoke as she laughed, fading away from the abyss. Janus tried to speak but his mouth did not respond, his legs were visibly trembling. He fell down, on his knees as he cried even more. Was it the gate of terrors? He honestly didn't know.

"What the- who went into the gates? Mortals again?" Virgil groaned as he didn't know if he should go check. His heart told him something was wrong, a mortal should be dead by now, it's been three minutes- unless- Virgil gasped, which god had gone into his gates? It was raining, had they thought it was shelter?
"Fuck okay" Virgil sighed as snapped, he was in his domain. He was never effected by the ever lasting room, it was white for him, clear while others were dark and with fears. It was so hard to spot a spec of yellow. Who was it? If couldn't be Janus right? Virgil tried to walk toward and grab the other but he was far too out. He couldn't save Janus. The fear was overwhelming Virgil, was it his child's death? He didn't know. All he knew was that it was so very dark even he couldn't describe the fear.

"Janus!" Virgil yelled out, he did not very care or was interested in Janus, he would rather keep to himself. He had always felt something off about Janus, he could detect fear that came from Janus but he could never solve what was his fear, it seems being deceit had a few pros. Janus only responded with much louder sobs
"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry-" Janus kept on crying, Virgil couldn't stop the lying god- what was he going to do!?

That was until he saw another color. Red.. Red.. who's red-
"ROMAN!?" Roman turned around, afraid but relieved seeing Virgil, they had been united but what about Janus? He couldn't save Janus. Anymore longer and Janus would die, a new god would appear, or rather, a new Janus... But merely Deceit.
"We need to save Janus!" Roman said trying to reach out for Janus, only to be blocked by some kind of barrier
"His fears got the best of him- we can't.." Virgil closed his eyes, he couldn't speak any longer.

"No- no I'm not letting this happen!" Roman cried out Virgil was confused, why did Roman care so much about Janus? It had hurt him somehow.. Why was that? Virgil frowned before he sighed
"Then we need all four of us" Virgil snapped, morality and Logic appeared. The two seemed confused until they saw where they are and who was missing.
"No time to explain!" Virgil stares at Janus, he was so close to being dead, swept away like dust.

The time tics slowly.

Sometimes fast.

I wish I could stop time

But I am merely a mistake
