You try to open the box but it's locked. You look around for a key and find one on the floor next to the bed. You open the box and take out a stack of photos.

Four leaf clover..
A picture of Todd with a woman and a little girl, but they looked nothing like the androids.

Placing the picture to the side, the next ones are alarming. Four different drawings, probably made by the child android. The first is a drawing of the little girl with a black eye, crying. You place it to the side and the next one is of her and Todd. He looks angry while she's sad.

The third drawing is Todd slapping the adult android, the child behind them waving her arms.

Your breath hitches as you see the last drawing. The adult android lying on the ground with its arm detached, the little girl crying. Taking a deep breath you grab your phone and take pictures of the drawings. Putting the drawings back and locking it, you quickly walk down the steps.

Light from the TV's hockey game illuminates Todd's face as he answers Gavin's questions with ease. The beer in his hand sways around when he talks about his android attacking him and stealing his YK500. His child.

Lies.

Looking around you find declined credit card papers on the desk to the right of the front door. If he's unemployed and in debt then how is he paying for the androids? You place the papers down and turn to watch them talk.

He's obviously got red ice connections. He's a seller and buyer based off of his current financial state, and isn't used to visitors by the state of his house. It could be possible he's connected to something bigger, maybe another red ice empire? The theory holds with the evidence you have now.

"I was just talking to my daughter upstairs when that bitch android pulled a gun on me. I tried to defend myself but it just pushed me into the shelf," Todd motions to the bandage on his head, "I tried to grab my daughter but it took her and ran down the stairs. I caught up to them and... and tried to reason but it threw around my furniture and escaped out the front door and onto one of the Detroit buses." He takes a long drink from his beer and places it back onto the table.

"How did the android access the gun?" Gavin asks, crossing his arms.

"I keep it in my drawer next to my bed, i'm assuming it saw the gun when i had it clean the house the day before it attacked me."

"Right, right. That's all for now, have a good day Mr. Williams." Gavin says, walking towards the door with Todd following behind. Gavin exits, leaving you and Todd. He's standing at the door and starring at you.

"Thank you for your time, Mr. Williams." You meet Gavin at his car and take a seat in the passenger's side. Looking over to the house you see him in the doorway, watching you like a hawk. A chill goes up your spine.

Shit... does he know that I know..?

Gavin gets in and starts the car.

You put your hands on your face and take a deep breath, not coming back here anytime soon.

|| back at the station, you and Gavin are at your desks working on the case ||

You're leaning on the left arm of your chair and going through the files, trying to find any connection. Each home usually had a single parent but one of the cases had two parents. Some owners had jobs while the others didn't. All of their backgrounds are different and the children were purchased within different times.

The only thing you could find that was similar in each scenario was the poor condition of the houses and the suspected abuse you found at the other two homes you visited. Maybe even the red ice was a link?
