A Berry Wrong Choice

  The story you are about to read is actually not a story I wrote. Special shout out to @Bored_NGL who sent me this story to put in my oneshot book!   You're Rapunzel's younger sister born 3 years after her disappearance, but because she's back you finally get to have the sister fun time you'd always dreamed. Today was a very special day indeed, today was the kruncleberry harvest! It's the harvest of a very special and unique kind of berries that only sprout every 15 years.

  You rushed down the halls with your dress blowing behind you. You sped nearly missing Cass who was cleaning one of the windows. You almost hit her bucket of sudsy water on the way, you jump over as Cass gives you a dirty look. "Close call (y/n)," "Yeah yeah I know but today is too big of a day to wait around and let it pass by Woah!" You crash into Eugene who'd been casually walking down the hall minding his own business. 

  You could almost hear his jaw crunch as your elbow collided with his eye and your body landing on top of his. Cass laughed as you get up still in a wonderful spirit and not one bit hurt. "Sorry Euey, (you-E) I would stop and chat but I for to go!" You yank him to his feet grabbing his face and snapping his jaw back into place. "YOUCH! Oooooh (y/n) you're going to pay for..and she's already gone." He glared at the still snickering Cassandra, "what's you're deal, you really find it funny the kid ran me over?" "Yes and how she successfully vandalized your face." Cass had to bite her lip to prevent herself from going into hysterics as Eugene ran to the nearest mirror to see his face. "AHHHH! My gorgeous face has been brutally murdered and replaced with this...this..." "Black eye," Cass said slyly while leaning against the wall in pleasure. "Why I'm going to..." "Going to what huh, she is your girlfriend's sister, I wouldn't make threats while under the King's roof." Eugene rubbed his temples with his fingers, "UGH! I hate when you're right because that means I'm not." "Bingo," "and the kid is kinda likable other than the fact that she's Varvatos' best friend. Though she's the only one I've ever met that calls me Euey," Cass completely lost it and was a snorting mess. "Yeah laugh it up," Eugene said walking away in a huff.

You bust out the door into the royal garden where you found Rapunzel, mom, and dad already eating breakfast. "Well look who's awake," Queen Ariana greeted her youngest daughter. "Can I go to old Corona during the harvest so I can try my first Kruncleberry!?" "So much for good morning to you too ." King Fredrick sighed. "What have I said about going off on your own," you sighed. "Don't," "very good." I sit in my seat and glumly looked at my breakfast and simply picking it with my fork. The queen looked tab her husband then at her daughter, "I don't see what the problem is if she has an escort." "No no no, she can wait until tonight when we get berries delivered to the castle, we can make a pie and you can try it with Rapunzel and us to see." Kind Fredrick tried but you didn't respond. 

 "What's the big deal dad? I could always go with her," Rapunzel said making her dad grumble. "Please dad, I've been sooooooo good all week, no! All month," he raised an eyebrow at you. You thought back to all the times you'd caused the royal staff trouble, "tolerable." You correct. His gaze never lessened, "fine bit I've been good all morning!" Eugene walked up to the small dining gazebo and slumped into his chair. He sent you a glare, "you see this brownie?" He pointed at his now blackened and slightly swelling eye, "this was your work." The king and queen exchange glances then stared at you. You shrug and let out a nervous laugh, "hehe....sorry?"

  The king sighed, "why do you have to go so early in the morning? Can't you please wait for tonight?" "No I promised Varian I'd be by his side when we both tried our first Kruncleberry." The king looked at Rapunzel and Eugene, "and you two will be escorting her and keeping her safe?" "Yes!" "No!" Cried both Rapunzel and Eugene at the same time.
