"Holy Hera Jungkook, what did you do this time?" Y/n sighed, beginning her walk home as she listened to her friends rant about how a prank went a little too far.

"It's not like I meant to set the microwave on fire! It was an accident! And he's still so pissy," Jungkook rambled. "So, how about it? Y/nKook sleepover time?"

"First of all, please refrain from using a ship name for us. Second of all, get your ass over here, I bought chips."

The man over the phone giggled, "Yes ma'am, on my way!"

With that, the he hung up, leaving Y/n with a bag full of groceries. The sun wouldn't set for a few more hours, so she took her time. The bag wasn't too heavy, and it was still nice out.

When she returned home, Y/n took to unloading her bag. She finished up, and set to her small couch. She had just gotten comfortable when the doorbell rang, causing the girl to groan in annoyance.

"Coming!"

Y/n scampered to her door, opening it to reveal her old friend. He had grocery bag filled with clothes, fist raised in hopes to knock even more excessively than before.

"Enough kookie! Now get your short butt in here. We can watch some movies and catch up."

The man pouted at the height joke, but walked though the doorway, enveloping Y/n in a tight hug.

She returned it, finding comfort in his arms.

"For the record," he mumbled into the woman's shoulder, "You're like..a centimeter taller than me. So shut it."

With that, Jungkook broke the hug and stalked into the kitchen, excitedly shifting though her fridge and pantry.

"Try not eat me out of house and home there Kook!" Y/n yelled from the living room.

"No promises!" Y/n could tell his mouth was already stuffed with
god-knows-what he found in her cupboards. She smiled in amusement.

After a few minutes, Jungkook joined her on the three seater couch. Shuffling up to rest his head on her shoulder, he attempted to catch up with Y/n.

"So, what's new?"

Y/n thought for a moment. Life had been pretty dull, the only exciting thing being the possibility of the internship.

"Well, I may or may not have scored a really good internship." She answered decidedly, shoving her hand into a bag of popcorn Jungkook had in his lap.

"That's great! What company?"

"N.O.P.P," Y/n replied, mouth full.

"No shit? I have a buddy there who works in HR. I might have to put a good word in for you," Kookie nudged her shoulder as he thought of his friend.

"Really? Never would've thought you had friends," Y/n teased, to which Jungkook flicked her head.

"Hush, let's watch whatever you decided to put on"

[meanwhile, back at the N.O.P.P building, floor two]

Mr.Kim sat idly, drumming his fingers against the desk. Today was a slow one indeed, his team was actually being competent for once. As refreshing as it was, it left him with very little to do.

Mr.Kim was always a very efficient man. He knew what he wanted and what needed to get done, and always achieved his goals. Over time, this may have made him selfish, rude even.

But others opinions on his character would never hold him back from getting what he wanted.

A knock sounded on the side of his cubicle, a young woman appearing with a few papers in hand.

"Excuse me sir, these were the papers you wanted from Mr. Yang."

The girl spoke timidly, Mr.Kim greatly intimidated her. Despite being attractive, he was also very strict. She could name more than one occasion where her work was sent back for revision due the fact that it was done 'incorrectly'.

Despite his over-critical eye, she couldn't help but develop a bit of a school girl crush on her superior.

She was snapped out of her daze when the files were ripped from her grasp. Mr.Kim was already facing his computer screen yet again.

"Thank you. Now if you'll excuse me, I have work to do."

"Of course," she bowed respectfully, "I'll be taking my leave, have a good day sir."

Mr.Kim waited till her head was out of view before he sighed deeply. That girl was too ditzy for his taste.

Turing his attention to the paper in his lap, he picked up the pale yellow sticky note attached to it.

"Guess your advice was worth it, have fun!
-Mr.Yang"

Looking down, he saw Y/n's file with a big stamp over it, red ink spelling the word 'approved.'

He always got what he wanted.

And this was only the beginning.
