After walking for hours, occasionally killing walkers and laughing at cute and stupid little jokes that we made, we set up a little place in the woods to sleep. He set up a noise trap an I set up our bed. He made a fire and we sat next to it. "I guess we're sleeping in shifts... I suck at that though." he said. "Yeah me too. Are you hungry?" I asked. "Starving." he laughed. I took out some crackers we could nibble on. We told each other stories about how stupid some of our teachers were back then, and how embarrassing our silly friends were. "I'm bored." I said, putting the crackers away. "So whatcha wanna do?" he asked. "Do we have any card games or something?" I asked. "Nope. But I have an idea on what we could do." he said, smirking, moving closer to me. "And what's that?" I ask. "We could cuddle." he giggled. He sort of pulled me back so we were laying down. We watched the fire burn and the sun set slowly. I was sad because the trees were in the way of all the stars. I love stars, especially shooting stars. I love making wishes, but I think mine have already came true.

It was morning now. I woke up before him and took the rings out of my pocket. I looked at them for a while.

Carls POV: When I woke up, June had rings in her hands. So that's what she was hiding. "Good morning." I said. "Hey sleepy head, what's on your mind darling?" she asked, hiding the rings behind her back. I pretended I didn't see them. I sat up, held her hands and said "I just had a dream about us, like how much I love you. Flashbacks to when you saved my life. You're my everything, you're an angel. I'm so glad to have you here with me, this morning and every morning. Alive and healthy, happy and smiling."

June's POV: All I could think was 'wow'. I showed him the rings, and his beautiful blue eyes sparkled. "I know the guy should usually be saying this... but, Carl, will you be my-" "Yes." he said, cutting me off. He was blushing really badly. I giggled and put and ring on his finger, and the other on mine. They fit perfectly. "Perfect," he said, "just like you."
