"Life's a game but It's not fair
I break the rules so I don't care
So I keep doing my own thing
Walkin' tall against the rain
Victory's within the mile
Almost there, don't give up now
Only thing that's on my mind
Is who's gonna win the game!" - Run this town by RihannaThe tournaments have been conducted for the past 7 years and never once has a Fia ever stepped inside the DGrounds. But Yvette had the desire to learn another element and also wanted to give the Vento's Head a small payback for the 'favour' he had done for her.
As she came closer to the DGrounds, she could hear the restless noise of the crowd, all waiting for the interesting battle to start. Well, It's going to get a lot more interesting today, she smiled to herself as she headed towards the refreshments.
After her encounter with the two rather "really close" siblings, her longing for an elder brother increased. As she stood in the tunnel, waiting to enter the field, she longed for a supportive brother, who would have hugged and encouraged her telling her to follow her dreams. Nobody knew. She would be half way through the tournaments before they even heard a whisper. She hoped that she wouldn't be thrown out. Now that would be harsh... she shuddered.
They started moving towards the light at the end of the tunnel. She could hear her heart beating to the beat of the drums and feet moving to the rhythm of footfalls. She squinted her eyes as she met with the end of the tunnel. The light was bright. The sounds were loud. She heard the noise increase, as she stumbled forward. As everyone moved on to take their places, she felt out of place. She took a deep breath and moved as a loner towards the Fia ' platform.
So far so good... Nobody had noticed her all alone making her way towards the bottom right corner of the field... Yet. The guard widened his eyes as he noticed her approaching the no-man's land, though he kept silent.
She had felt her the fire inside of her grow unstable as she had walked closer to the DGrounds. She had never experienced this kind of power since she had never been here. This was all because of the tent which stood solidly in the middle of the field. Inside this, was stored the great energy that Stoichea had created. No one actually knew why he had summoned such a huge amount of energy, much less, why he had stored it. But now that she could feel her blood hissing in her veins, she wondered if she would be able to be in control to win the tournament. She tried a power block to suppress the intake of energy but it didn't work like it usually would. She let out a breath, trying to stay calm.
The Ventos took their place at the top right, the Advas at the top left and the Austers at the bottom left. Yvette, a tiny figure in the middle of the huge Fia platform, looked up at the balcony just in time to see the Militiam, the host of the tournaments, stand up.

"Have you been paying attention to anything we have been saying?!" Asher screamt Into my ear, to be heard above the crowd.
Aurem looked at his bestfriend and then shrugged. There was a lot on his mind. The Consul's warning, Freya's trust, the mysterious girl and finally, the tension present in the air when Asher interrupted his and Anais' reunion.
"Aurem baby, I know you love me and all but don't stare at me for too long. People are starting to notice," Anais sang. Then linking her arms with him, she whispered so that all three of them could hear, "they get jealous you know." He smirked.
