"It's boring as fuck." I said to myself as I laid upside down on the couch.
It was super quiet but then I started hearing gunshots and they were close. I tried to quickly get up but I fell and hit my head on the table hard as fuck.
"Fuck!" I whispered-yelled.
I touched my forehead and it was blood on my hand when I looked at it. I don't know why but I just started crying. I started feeling dizzy and then blackness come over me.

Young Nyla sat on the couch crying. One of her mother's sex buddies punched her in the face because she was so-called being disrespectful. Her older twin brothers, Zion and Xavier, walked into the house laughing about some joke their friend made.
"Xavier! Zion!"Nyla ran to her brothers while crying.
"What's wrong? What happened to your face?"Zion asked her.
"He..he hit me."She said crying hard.
"Who?"Xavier asked her.
"Don't pay her no mind. She got in a fight at school, she just wants some attention."Their mother said to them.
"That's not true!"She yelled.
"Who you getting disrespectful with, huh? You know what, go to your room! Now!"Her mom yelled making her jump in fear.
"I promise I'm not lying. Carlos hit me and it's not the first time."She pleaded to her brothers.
"I'm tired of your lies. Come on."Her mom said.
Her mom grabbed her by her arm and yanked her away from her brothers. She dragged Nyla upstairs while she cried and screamed. She opened the room door to Nyla and Honest shared room. Then she threw her inside on the ground.
"You gon learn to stay in a child place."Her mom said before leaving out, slamming the door behind her.
"Nyla, what's wrong?"Honest asked running to her side.
