It was a beautiful day out, especially how the sun was warming everything it touched. You were tending to all the flowers inside the flower shop when there was a crash heard outside. It was loud but you could tell it was probably a block or two away.
It was common to hear villain battles and crimes take place around this little flower shop considering it wasnt in the best neighborhood. The owner didnt care though, they grew up in this shop therefore it stays.
Either way you loved the little shop even if it was only a part time job.
The sounds of the fight outside get closer but you continue to pay no mind.
Moving away from the front of the shop, you go to the back to continue watering the many types of flowers. The stronger flowers in front and the weaker ones in the back. Most of the ones in the front have thorns as well. It helps detour people from stealing the flowers.
The battle outside was practically at your doorstep considering that every crash shook the foundation of the flower shop. You look up just in time to watch as the red winged hero crash through the wall.
You cover your mouth in disbelief.
You managed to escape getting hurt but your lovely flowers didnt have the same privilege.
"Hey Hawks! We got the guy, relax for a bit!" One of his sidekicks, you presume, calls out to him. His only response was a weak thumbs up.
Do they not see you or the rest of the shop that's now destroyed?
"A-are you ok?" You shaking and timid voice makes the hero jump.
"Shit..." He tries to sit up and move his wings but only cries in pain.
"Ah p-please dont move! Let me get the first aid!" You maneuver around debris and return with the first aid. You kick away the rubble and glass before sitting behind him and pulling out the tweezers.
"I'm really sorry...." You remain silent with tears pooling in your eyes. You carefully start to pull put glass shards and thorns from each of his feathers. "Hey, are you ok? You're being really quiet...."
You stifle a sob and sniffle. "I'm fine." The way your voice cracks says something else.
"H-hey what's wrong? Are you hurt?" He goes to turn around and look at you but flinches as you pull a thorn out.
"Y-you destroyed my flowers."
"I'm so sorry, I really tried to not cause any damage!" His voice was laced with worry. You pull out another thorn more gently.
"I know you didnt m-mean too but they're still crushed."
"I'm so sorry, I can pay for the repairs?" Two more thorns and a glass piece fall to the ground.
"The owner doesnt like hand outs..."
"Then please let me buy some flowers then."
You let out a small giggle, lightening the downpour of your tears. "Mr. I fight bad guys wants flowers?" Four more pieces gone.
"Hehe I know sounds silly but I do like flowers."
"What's your favorite then?"
"Promise not to laugh?" He holds out a pinky over his shoulder. You pause pulling out a thorn to pinky promise him.
"Promise."
He takes his hand back and sighs. "Gardenias..." You keep true to your promise and smile.
"I like gardenias but they arent my favorite." You wipe your cheeks as the tears stop falling.
"Oh? Then what flower is your favorite?"
"Sunflowers." You mentally sigh as you realize how long tending to his wings were going to take.
"Oh sunflowers are nice." There was a pause in the conversation as you concentrate on his left wing. "So what's your name, sunflower?"
You laugh and blush at the nickname. "What was it too cheesy?"
"Hehe no, I like it."
"Good. I'm not changing it."
"I'd hope not. Anyway my name is (Y/n)."
"Oh that's a lot prettier than a sunflower." Your giggles sound like an angelic chime to his ears.
"Do want to tell me yours or is it just Hawks?" It was Hawks' turn to chuckle.
"I'll let you know my name if you also promise not to expose me."
"I give you my word."
"My name is Keigo."
"I like that name."
"Hehe glad you give it your approval." You hum in response, slipping back into concentration.
After five or ten minutes you speak again. "Tell me about yourself."
"Pfft why?"
"Because I want to get to know you and more."
"Then you have to help me get to know you too?"
"Hehe sure?"
"Awesome."
As the two of you talk and share stories together, the time seems to go by faster. After roughly three hours all the glass and thorn were gone but the two of you formed a impeccable bond. It was almost like you've known each other before all this.
You pull out the last thorn and stand. "Okay! We did it!"
Keigo raises and gives his wings a good shake. "More like just you sunflower." He turns around and for the first time your eyes meet. His smile only grows as he softly says, "beautiful."
"I'd say you look good too." You smile back and mess with your hair.
There was a small pause.
Keigo opens his mouth to speak but was interrupted by his phone rings. "Uhhhh...." He picks up his phone and puts a finger to his lips to ask for silence.
You smile and zip your lips shut.
"Yo."
There was incoherent words being spoken but they seem to annoy Keigo. "Fine, I'll get over there as fast as I can. Bye." He hangs up and gives you a tired look. "I gotta get but do you have any idea when I can see you again?"
You think for a moment. "I'm setting up the park plaza near U.A tomorrow night for the spring parade. You can come and see me then."
"Yeah that sounds awesome! What time?"
"Seven thirty and you better be prepared for this if you're gonna help. We'll be the only ones there so we have to work hard!"
"Of course! I'll see you tomorrow sunflower!" He blows you a kiss before taking off. As he flies off he can hear your faint giggles.
"Bye bye Keigo!"
----------------------------------------------------------------
You arrive at the plaza at six thirty with a backpack slung over your shoulder. You always prefer to be early, whether that be a five minutes or an hour.
You look around for your supplies. You volunteered to help set up the plaza for the spring parade so the city supplies all the flowers and decorations.
This year's theme is love. Goofy but you found it endearing especially since you know many happy couples with enjoy it. Even if you're single doesnt mean you cant be happy for others.
You set your bag down and walk to the many flowers. There were three colors: red, pink, and white. There were also streamers to hang from the trees along with a note.
You pick up the note and scan over it. 'Thank you so much for doing this again (y/n)! You have no idea how much we appreciate this. For design could you make a spot for photoshoots? Everything else just have fun! Thank you once again! -City Hall'.
You smile as ideas rush to your head. You begin to line the paths with flowers in the alternating colors of red, pink, white, red, pink, white. All of the flowers were potted so all you have to do is dig a small hole and place the flower.
With your face and clothes smudged with dirt and fingers pricked with thorns, you check the time.
Eight oh three.
You sigh as a bittersweet feeling settles within you. You hoped he'd come and help but you know he's a busy hero.
You were about to continue your work but were stopped as you heard a faint "Hey!"
You look around and see Keigo running towards you. You leap up and run back at him. As you're quickly approach him you see he a pair of loose jeans on and a casual shirt.
As you two meet halfway, you jump and tackle him in a hug which he gladly accepts. "I'm so happy you made it!"
"Of course sunflower! I'm really sorry I'm late." You separate from and take his hand.
"All that matters is that you're here. Now let's go!" You drag Keigo to where you left off.
"You got a lot done for such a short time!"
"Yup! But we still have a lot to go. I can place the flowers in if you dig the holes for me." You drop and start placing flowers in some of the holes you already made.
"Or we can dig the holes and my feathers can place the flowers." Keigo sends out many feathers to go and pick up the flowers.
"Yeah that works!" You and Keigo go into full worker mode digging holes. Playful banter played out between you which really helped it go by faster.
Before the two of you knew it, it was nine thirty and you've completed lining the paths. You stand up and try to wipe away dirt from your brow. You look at your accomplished work as Keigo comes up and plants his head on your shoulder.
"Ah~ we finished!" You laugh at his comment. "What's funny?" You point to the large amount of remaining flowers.
"We still have a lot to do." He groans and plops down onto the bench closest to you.
"You've done this before right? All by yourself? How!?" You smile, grab your backpack, and sit next to him.
"Well, when you're doing something you love things are just better. Plus I'm not an epic hero who goes and saves people." He gives a weak laugh before leaning against you. You dig through your bag and pull out a chicken sandwich. "Do you eat chicken or is that cannibalism?" He perks up and eagerly grabs the sandwich.
"How?" You laugh at the over grown chicken eating chicken with excitement radiating off of him.
"I guessed you probably didnt eat a lot and that you'd be hungry but I didnt know you liked chicken." You pull out two water bottles and two more sandwiches. You pass a water bottle and one more sandwich to him.
"You're a life saver, sunflower."
"Hehe that's a lot coming from you." The two of you eat and get back to work.
Keigo works on stringing streamers across the trees throughout the park while you set up a place to take pictures in the entrance of the plaza. You carefully place spirals of red and pink flowers on the white flower arch. It was truely beautiful. The red and pink pop from the white but the flowers in the background with the streamers add the final touches.
With the last batch of flowers you and Keigo set up another arch at the entrance of the park and place extra near the benches. As the last flowers were planted, the two of you fall onto the bench exhausted.
"We did such a good job. Look." You gently nudge the man at your side. You scan the scenery with him. Under the light of the sidewalk lights everything seems so distant and whimsical.
"We did the best job." You two sit there for a bit. Nothing was said and nothing needed to be said. It was a comfortable silence. "If I started a garden would you help me?"
"Hm?"
"I dont know, just with how all this turned out it kinda makes me want a garden, ya know?" You give him a soft smile and look back apon your work.
"We treat did do a fantastic job but if I help with your garden you need to pay. No freebies~!"
"Wha! I helped you for free!"
"Hehe this was an offer to hangout, you never needed to help."
"No friend discounts?"
"I made you sandwiches."
"Fair point. How much do I need to pay you?" You tap your finger to your chin while thinking.
"Well, depends on how big your garden is. I can come and check it out Wednesday."
"Yeah, that works great!"
"That's good. Tomorrow you should atleast fly overhead to look at our work in the morning."
"Yeah, I was planning on walking around too. Are you going to be here?"
"Only for an hour or so. I wanna help rebuild the shop plus I have a gardening job booked."
Keigo awkwardly scratches the back of his neck. "I'm sorry...."
"Hey. All forgiven. You practically repaid me by helping with this. Dont sweat it." You give him another nudge before standing.
"Yeah, if you say so sunflower." You take the opportunity while he stands to check the time.
One forty seven.
You let out a loud groan. "I still need to shower."
"Blah, I have patrol in the morning." You collect your bag and give Keigo a quick hug.
"Thank you again. I might see you tomorrow but no promises."
"Anytime! Oh! How are you gonna find my place Wednesday?"
"Uh..."
"Here!" Keigo passes you his phone. "Gimme your number so we can talk."
You gently push his phone back. "I dont really like to text or anything so can you just give me your address?"
"Aww okay." You type down his adress and give him another goodbye. "Wait, are you walking home?"
"Uh yeah?"
"Let me walk you home!"
"No thank you."
His face falls. "Why not?"
"Uh because you need to go home."
"I fly fast."
"Please Keigo, go home. You'll see me again."
Keigo has an unreadable look on his face. "Fine. Goodnight (y/n)." He flies off with out giving you a second glance.
Why was he upset? You didnt do anything wrong.
You shake the uneasy feeling in your gut before walking home. Along the way you felt as someone or something was watching you.
Maybe you should've accepted Keigo's offer....
----------------------------------------------------------------
The next morning was painful to wake up to. Groggily to get ready even though your body aches. You leave your apartment and make you way back to the plaza to see if everyone liked it.
Upon arriving, you were hit with the sense of accomplishment. It still looked beautiful, heck,it was even better looking in the morning light. Walking around you were able to see all the happy couples taking pictures and having fun.
This brings a smile to your face.
You make it to the center or the plaza only to see Keigo. Your heart drops with dread. You didnt want to interact with him today but here he was. You run by trying to avoid talking to him but you feel his eyes burn into you.
That's when you bump into Liz, head of city hall. "Liz!"
"Hey (y/n)! You did such a fantastic job, we truely cant thank you enough."
"Hey, anytime! I just wanted to see how it looked in daylight and know your thoughts."
"Its amazing as always."
"Hehe thank you!"
"Well go and enjoy yourself, you deserve it."
"Got it. Have a nice day Liz!"
"Bye (y/n)!"
You quickly escape the park before Keigo could approach you. You knew he would be upset and hurt but you just need some time to shake this icky feeling that has been lingering around you. It started last night after refusing Keigo. Plus you'll see him Wednesday, its Saturday now.
After walking a bit of a distance, you arrive at the destroyed flower shop. Cars and construction workers surround it as progress in rebuilding it has already begun.
Your boss was nowhere to be seen but you knew they were working hard to repair the shop.
For several hours you try your best in helping but there wasnt really anything you could do. Giving up, you wish everyone a good day before heading to your gardening job.
Today you worked for a sweet old lady who loved tulips. Her garden was relatively small so you were able to give extra care to all the flowers.
"Oh (y/n), you treat my tulips so well!"
"Of course Ms. Corry!"
"Here. It's a few extra dollars, I want to show my gratitude."
"Ms. Corry you really don't need to do that."
"I insist."
"You spoil me Ms. Corry."
"Only because you're my favorite." You give the adorable old lady a hug farewell before walking home.
Surprisingly today was a slow day was a slow day for you but you aren't complaining. As you near your small apartment the feeling of eyes on you return. You quickly make it the remainder of the way home.
You get home and start to get comfortable, but then you notice it. There, on the inside window sile, sat a small red feather. It was a beautiful red but how did a bird get in here?
You pick up the feather and check your windows. All were tightly locked. You then look around your house to see if anything was knocked out of place or if there were anymore feathers to find. You give the scarlet feather one last look before placing it on the table and going to make dinner.
----------------------------------------------------------------
It had been a mix between Wednesday running at you with full force and it slowly lurking behind you. You hadn't seen Keigo since the spring parade and you were fine with that. Simply thinking his name made you shiver, but today you have to go to his house.
Your anxiety rises as you start to leave your home. Walking to the adress given to you, you feel oddly at peace. Partly because it was sill early and everyone was still asleep, but mainly because you didnt feel like you were being watched. It felt liberating to just be you without being watched. That feeling faded as you got closer to Keigo's house.
As you arrive, you're pleasantly surprised. He has a modest house, not too big but far from small, and a decent sized garden the just needed a hood bit of effort.
"Hey sunflower!" You look to see Keigo walking out of the front door and towards you.
"Hey."
He reaches you and pulls you into a hug. You hesitate before hugging him back. "Gah! I've missed you so much!" He lifts you off the ground and gives you a twirl before releasing you.
"Thanks... Anyway, I'm gonna check out your garden now. Ya know, yeah...." You couldn't pin point why this was so awkward for you but you were aware that Keigo was oblivious to it. You walk over and start examining the plot.
"So what's the damage?" You jump at how close he suddenly was.
"Uh not too bad but it needs a good bit if work."
"How much?"
"I work for around three hours with the charge of ten dollars and hour but you have to buy all the flowers and stuff." He nods before helping you stand.
"Well, I'd love to do business with you!"
"Ok, can I start today?"
"Yeah! Do you already have tools and stuff?"
"Yup." You remove the backpack from your shoulder and unzip it.
"Kay, let me know if you need anything." You respond with a nod before starting work on pulling all the weeds.
You try your hardest to concentrate but if was hard with Keigo either standing next you or just staring at you. "Do.... Do you need anything?"
He looks a little surprised but answers quickly. "Nope! You need anything?"
"No..." You quickly fall into the pattern of you working for maybe fifteen or twenty minutes then Keigo asking if you needed anything. He never left your side.
After three hours, just like you said, you finished. You rose to your feet and wiped off your clothes.
"Hey! It looks so much better!" Keigo wraps his arm around your shoulders as he praises you.
"Uh, well you still need flowers."
"I know." There was an awkwardness that started filling the air, for you atleast.
"Well I'm gonna go now." You escape his arm and start gathering your things.
"Do you wanna get dinner?" You freeze, unsure how to answer. If you say yes you'll be trapped into interacting with him but if you say no, you dont have the best feeling about it.
"Uh, I'd like to but I cant."
"Why not?" His voice was becoming low, accusing, and scary.
"I promised Liz I'd go and eat with her." You give him a smile to try and hide the fact you were lying.
He sighs and walks away. "I'll see you Wednesday then."
You were tempted to ask about your pay but right now it didnt seem appropriate.
;Walking home you feel defeated. Lying? Really? Is that how low you sunk? Either way you make it home and are greeted by the little red feather. It hadn't moved at all but you had a feeling it had an adventure.
Putting your stuff down you go and finish up your night, worried about how next Wednesday will turn out.
----------------------------------------------------------------
After a week or two things fell into a pattern. The shop reopened and you worked twice as hard to regrown all the destroyed flowers.
Occasionally Keigo would stop by, talk to you, buy some flowers, and leave. Your boss loved how the number 2. hero would always stop by and buy something.
You hated it.
You hated how even after he left his voice still rang through the store, how you could still smell his cologne, how he just wouldn't leave you alone.
When you went out to go shopping or were walking to go and work, there was a fifty percent chance you'd run into Keigo. You dreaded going out for the fear of running into him. It made it worse that when you are working on his garden he'd just watch you. From inside his house or right behind you. He stopped with the "do you need anything"s but you preferred it over just his staring.
Today was different though.
You were trimming the dead leaves from Keigo's garden of gardenias when you look to see him walking towards you. You continue minding your own business, thinking he was just going to stand there and watch you. You were wrong.
"Hey, can you stand up for a second?" His voice was soft and it almost sounded nervous. Either way you comply.
"What do you need?"
He grabs your hands and holds them. He takes a deep breath before looking into your eyes.
"Uh, Keigo?"
He doesnt hear you, atleast that's what you think. His face slowly starts to get closer to yours. Then it hits you.
You push away from him, leaving him utterly shocked and confused.
"What are you doing?!"
"What? What's wrong?"
"What do you mean what's wrong!? You tried to kiss me!" Normally you would've reacted more calm but with weeks of paranoia, fear, and stress built up it was hard to stay calm. "What makes you think you can just do that!?"
"Because I love you." Everything freezes. Keigo's face was happy and blushing while yours grew pale.
"No."
"N-no? What do you mean no?" His face falls just like yours had.
"You cant love me."
"Why not?" You quickly grab your stuff before backing away from him.
"Because I dont love you..." Your voice was barely above a whisper.
"W-wait! Please dont leave!" He reaches out for you but falls to the ground in a fit of coughing.
"I quit!" You run away panicking. This cant be happening, please dont be happening.
For some reason you didnt want to go home, it didnt feel that safe. You had no idea where to go. Your stuck.
You needed to get him out of your head, then maybe you'll be free. You walk over to a small restaurant and treat yourself.
Get him out of your head.
You try your best to focus on anything else but your mind always wanders back to him. Maybe after a day or two itll get better. That's what you hoped atleast.
----------------------------------------------------------------
As days that turn into weeks go by, you see Keigo less and less. He stopped buying flowers, much to your boss's dismay, and you slowly saw him less and less outside.
Though, he was currently Japan's biggest news piece. Everyone was raving on how the winged hero was seen coughing up flowers. It was also announced that he will be taking time off as a hero to try and recover.
It only hurt you more when you found out they were sunflowers. You don't really like sunflowers as much now.
Over thinking about him, you decide it's time to go on a date. You weren't too worried if it went well or not, you just wanted your mind and thoughts back.
As you get ready you cant help but think about how tonight will turn out. Will Keigo decide to pop up? Or will he remain somewhere else?
You were startled by the light knocks on your door. You walk over and open your door to reveal your date. He was nothing but ordinary. Nothing really set him apart from anyone else, even his name was oh so forgettable.
"Oh wow. You look amazing." You give a small smile before locking your door.
"Ready?"
"Yeah!" The two of you decided earlier that for tonight all you would do is dinner. Keeping it simple. After two or three minutes you notice your date visibly tense.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"Do you not feel it?"
"Feel what?"
"Someone's watching us." Over time you had gotten so used to it that you barely noticed it. The more you tried to concentrate on it the more you could feel it. Tonight the feel was so intense, almost like it was fueled by hatred.
"Yeah... its probably an alley cat or something." Lies. You knew exactly what it was but you were too scared to say it out loud.
"Yeah, let's hurry."
You two make it to the restaurant and eat. There was pleasant banter but nothing too enjoyable happened. In total it was a boring night.
You let him walk you home and hold your hand. He tries to kiss you at the door but you close it before that happens.
At this point all you could think about was sleeping so your plan worked, kinda. You shower and crawl into your bed to have a dreamless sleep.
You wake up and roll over only to jump out of bed. There, laying upon your bed, was a bouquet of sunflowers.
As you carefully pick up the flowers you notice the droplets of blood hanging from the petals.
His blood.
You start shaking. He made it into you house.
Run.
He watched you sleep.
Run.
His blood was trickling down your arm onto your bed.
Run.
You scream and drop the flowers as your phone rings. He didnt find your number, did he? Your shaking hand grabs your phone and answers it.
"H-hello?"
"Oh (y/n) dear you're ok!" You silently thank god it was your boss and not him.
"What do you mean?"
"Have you not seen the news?"
"No... should I?"
"I'll just tell you. I think you should sit down first." You walk out of your bedroom and sit on the couch.
"I'm sitting."
Your boss let's out a heavy sigh before continuing. "That boy you went on a date with was found dead today."
Fear slowly creeps around you as your boss continues.
"He was stabbed multiple times and his hands were nowhere to be seen."
You choke out a sob. You didnt really like him but he was dead. You briefly think why his hands were gone but it slaps you with cold realization.
You held his hands.
"One last thing, he was found covered in sunflowers and the petals." You drop your phone and cradle yourself as your boss asks if your still there.
Why? Why did he want you so bad? Why couldn't he have fallen for someone else? You were a nobody who loved flowers.
Sunflowers.
You loved sunflowers.
You weep because you have no idea what else to do. You felt pathetic. If you stay this way everyone else around will die but you didnt want to die either. He was dangerous and everyone still loved him. If you told the police they'll think you're lying. You cant tell Liz or your boss without them thinking your crazy.
You didnt own a clock but you can hear its invisible ticking. He had set a timer for you. Right now you were playing his game and there was no way to win.
You stand on shaky legs and walk back to your bedroom. You enter and see the little res feather from so long ago laying apon the bouquet.
That's another thing that hits you. It's his feather. He placed it in your house so long ago. He could easily open your windows and doors from the inside with it.
How many nights did he stand there and watch you?
How many times did he touch you while you slept?
You grab the feather and the bouquet and throw them out the window. You know that they'll reappear inside your house again but you didnt care right now.
You wanted to scream and cry.
You wanted this to be over.
You take off your pajamas and put on some more appropriate clothes. You were too desperate to end this that you didnt care to grab a weapon, to grab your phone, to even lock your door.
You quickly walked down the streets to his house. Today you were free from his stare.
You turned the corner and saw it. The house. Terror bubbled within you as you looked at the house. His garden was uprooted and wilted with sunflowers decaying with it.
As you took small footsteps towards the house you noticed the trail of sunflowers left for you.
You dont really like sunflowers anymore.
You followed the trail of bloody flowers to his doorstep. You grab the cold metal handle and push. Inside was dark and reeked of flowers and blood. You cover your nose and continue to cautiously follow the flowers.
That's when you see him.
He's slouching in a chair while twirling a wilted and bloody sunflower in his hand. His body looks frail while his face is pale and sunken in. Sunflowers tear through the skin of his cheeks with blood smeared all around them. His wing that were once so vibrant and strong look brittle and dull. Finally his eyes move from the flower in hand to yours. His eyes are dull.
"Like what you see? You caused this." His voice held spite but truth.
You caused this. You single handedly destroyed one of the strongest and smartest heros.
"I'm so sorry...." Your voice cracks as tears pool in your eyes.
He scoffs. "You're such a monster." He stands and wobbles before slowly stalking towards you. "If only you weren't such a selfish monster would I still be alive, not on death's doorstep."
You want to run away but you're frozen with his words echoing in your mind.
Monster.
"I'm sorry but, please just leave me alone." He rolls his eyes and grabs you by the throat and pins you to the wall.
"Here you go being selfish again, sunflower." You shiver at the nickname. "All I wanted was to treat you right, to love and value you but you couldn't have that. No. You needed to leave me and go off with that no body."
His grip tightens around you for a second before it relaxes.
"You couldn't even bother to take care of your garden." He grabs one of your hands and guides it to hold his face.
You can barely talk through your sobs. "I'm so so sorry but please, let me go."
He didnt like that. His grip tightens around your neck and wrist.
"Why dont you understand? Stop being such a brat and let me love you!"
He roughly kisses you and you have to hold back a gag. His lips were chapped but that didnt bother you. It was when he stuck his tongue in your mouth. It was the amount of blood that flooded your mouth along with the stray sunflower petals. He pulls away and breaths before trying g to force you to swallow his blood.
"Swallow it. Swallow it. Let me be apart of you. Do it. Stop being selfish." You swallow before coughing the rest of the thick liquid out. "Tsk."
He seems disappointed but you tried.
"Please-"
"Shut up! I've had enough." You try to wiggle free as he releases your neck but grabs your wrists. He pushes you to the ground and holds you there.
"H-hey! Stop! Let me go!" You start to thrash but stop as his bloody mouth touches yours.
"P-please..." His voice quivers and breaks. "Let me have you just for a little while."
He moves both of your hands into one so he can start to strip you. You flail and cry out for him to stop but he doesnt care.
Quit being selfish, he's dying.
But I dont want it.
But you deserve it for being selfish.
But I didnt do anything wrong!
He finishes ripping both your clothes off and you get to look at his body as he looks at yours. More tears fall as you begin to feel more like a monster.
He stopped eating. His skin clung to his bones but left an odd effect due to him still having some muscle. He also had sunflowers tearing through his skin between each of his ribs.
"You're so beautiful, sunflower." His voice sounded as if he was breathless. He leans in and kisses you as he slowly enters you. He did this to prevent you from screaming and crying.
It hurts.
He starts to move without giving you a chance to adjust.
It hurts.
You start to bleed, you feel it.
It hurts.
His tears and blood fall on you. "I've waited so long for this. I'm so happy."
His tears mix into yours as does his blood. It drips from his mouth and the flowers sprouting from his chest bleed due to being agitated.
It hurts so much.
Your whimpers and cries go unheard as he praises you. He tells you how beautiful you are.
You feel filthy.
He tells you how well you're doing.
You're afraid to move, scared you'll break one of his frail looking bones.
"Say my name, just once. Please." The name you tired so hard to forget easily slips through you lips.
"Keigo..."
He nestles his face in the crook of your neck as his thrusts become more sloppy and his cold and clammy hand runs around your body.
Finally he finished.
His hand releases yours but they stay there. He looks you in the eyes before giving you one last kiss. His body weight slowly falls on you as his face falls next to your ear.
"I love you... sunflower..." His breath becomes shallow as he gives his final exhale in your ear.
You lay there as the panic slowly seeps in. You were covered in his blood with sunflowers stuck to you.
Your filthy.
He had stopped moving and is laying on you.
Please get off.
He was still inside you.
It still hurts.
You start hyperventilating as you try to push him off. You feel his weight lift off of you and him exit your body. You dont bother to give him another look before getting dressed and running home.
You didnt care that your clothes were now blood soaked. You didnt care that everyone was staring. You just wanted to hide away and forget about everything.
You burst into your house and immediately throw away your clothes. You turn on the scalding hot water in the shower.
You dont care that it burns and you dont care that your scrubbing so hard you're bleeding.
You wanted to shed your skin, the skin that was touched by him.
After you sufficiently burnt all feeling in your body, you step out and look in the mirror. It was you but you couldn't see the you you knew. This was someone different. Someone who would never be the same.
You sink to the ground and cradle yourself.
You still felt so filthy. You can still feel the sunflowers that stuck out of his face.
You hate sunflowers.
You hate them.
You hate them.
You hate them.
To you they were wilted and will never be the same again. Just like you.Kiby~💚
