"Let's do our best!" he exclaimed. You both entered your dressing room to find red and white Santa themed suits.
"I'm not sure if this is really stylish," Syo muttered while exiting the room looking down at his outfit.
"Yeah, but it's cute!" you exclaimed with a twirl.
"I'm not cute!" Syo defended as his head shot up.
"Alright, alright Kurusu-kun. I'll be the cute one," you sighed with a smile. You met Syo's gaze to find a slightly dumb-founded expression on his face. "Kurusu-kun?"
"Ahh... You look good," he complimented.
"So do you! We have to get going though," you said while grabbing one of two sacks of presents. You opened the doors receiving the attention of numerous children.
"Merry Christmas!" you called out to everyone with a huge grin.
"Yay!" the children squealed. Joyful reactions sprouted everywhere as the kids anticipated their presents. They were all kind and energetic, some were also a bit flamboyant as well. After handing out all the presents, kids quickly opened them. The majority tore into the wrapping, but others gingerly opened their gifts enjoying the fact they had any at all.
"Cake time!" Syo announced wheeling in the multiple cakes you two had made. Kids excitedly gathered around the cakes with a twinkle in their eyes. You stood beside Syo and began cutting the cake. A small child tugged on your sleeve.
"Are you getting married to Santa?" they asked innocently.
"S-Santa?" you inquired baffled. Another kid pointed towards Syo, who was chatting with a different child.
"Why would you think that?" you questioned.
"Well there was presents and cake, plus you have matching outfits!" a little girl exclaimed cheerfully.
"But Santa is pretty short," a boy pointed out.
"Oi! I'm not short!" Syo yelled back. The children were startled and you cringed.
"You're getting married to _________-san, you need to be happy!" a child exclaimed.
"M-married?! What?! We-" He was cut off by you giving him a kiss on the cheek.
"Are you excited to be part of a wedding?" you asked the child and winked at Syo. He slowly nodded seeing your plan. All the children screamed with glee. They asked all types of cute questions and wanted to be your kids. You had to explain you were both busy and couldn't have kids right now. However, when you chose to you'd visit them and adopt them. They all jumped in joy. The night was filled with boisterous laughter, vivacious fun and bright smiles. Eventually, the children's energy decreased to nothingness and they were sound asleep. The workers cleaned everything up and you waited outside for your drive with Syo.
"That was amazing," he said grinning looking at the sky. You looked up at the glimmering stars and smiled.
"It was," you replied when suddenly a pair of lips met yours. You froze in surprise, but before you could react they retracted.
"Merry Christmas ____________-chan," he said before placing a piece of crumpled paper in your hand and entering his cab. You straightened it out to see his phone number and a message:
I couldn't leave my wife on our wedding day without a kiss.
