6:00 am | March, 13

" Ugh." I groaned as I was awoken by my alarm clock signaling to me that it was time to get ready for school. I get up and start walking my closet where my drive towel hung, grabbed it, and headed down the hallway to get my day started.

In the bathroom, I took a shower and held a mini-concert signing Mine by Beyonce and Drake. Once I was finished with my shower I wrapped my towel around my waist and brushed my teeth. I exited the bathroom and headed back to my room. Once I returned to my room I grabbed my outfit I had picked out for today and put it on. I picked up my phone and checked the time and seen it was about time for me to head out so I grabbed my phone and placed my charger inside of my backpack and headed towards the front door.

Time skip| 7:10

I arrived at the back of the school and quickly looked around the gym for my friends and spotted Sierra that was sitting at the far end of the gym with her brother who sat with the basketball and football boys. I mentally prepared my self for their childish shenanigans and walked towards them. As soon as I was spotted by them they begin to scream my name alerting the whole gymnasium of my presence. I facepalm my self and tell them to STFU before sitting down beside my best friend.

Sierra and I have met back in middle school and since then became a sort of popular duo. I say sort of because we are known across the town but we really stayed to ourselves and didn't have many friends until my stepcousin Chloe and her family moved to town and we then became a trio.

"Markell" Sierra called out to me, knocking me out of my thoughts. "Huh." I replied. "Are you coming to the basketball games tonight?" "Yeah...I have to see if Chloe will come first" "Where is Chloe anyways?" " I think she is in the cafeteria with her little boo she tryna hide." "You tryna go pop up on here, cause sitting in this gym with these crackhead ass boys is boring." "Yeah, let's go." Sierra and  I got yo and walked dow the bleachers before we heard "Aye where y'all going" called out by one of the crackhead ass boys mention before while the rest of them waited for an answer. These niggas get on my nerves. They always tryna be somebody daddy just cause my older brother told them to watch over me. Deciding to play with them I said "Going to see my..." was all I could say before they decided to invite themselves along. "What y'all doing?" Sierra asked. "We going with y'all." Tay said getting groans of annoyance from me and Sierra as we since we both knew there was gonna do what they want anyways. With attitudes we began exiting out the gym and heading to the cafeteria.
